Everything and games close to home
the staff is great
It’s clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. The equipment is well maintained and there isn’t distracting loud music playing.There is a way to improve the experience though and it’s pretty simple. Stop-lowering the blinds in the late afternoons all the way down. It would be a better use of them to never lower them all the way. Stop at about 7 to 8 feet off the floor. That would keep the bright sunlight out of everyone’s eyes while still allowing the beautiful view. I’m always disappointed when I’m there at that time of day knowing that with a little thought and care about this the afternoon experience would be enhanced. Please at least give this some consideration. Thank you.
The childcare teachers are the absolute best! I've been to the Lake Highlands and Park Cities locations and the childcare professionals at White Rock is on another level. I also want to recognize the cleanliness of the facilities. The equipment stays nice and clean, and it is impressive that the wipe dispensers are never out of wipes and always well-stocked. It is a really exceptional and well-run location! I used to go to Equinox and the YMCA White Rock is seriously far better. Thank ya'll for everything you do!!

The space is very clean, everyone is super friendly! We love the childwatch area and our kids look forward to Parents Night Out every month!

Such a light and bright happy environment!
We have enjoyed summers at the pool with our grandchildren, taking swimming lessons… the young people that work out there are outstanding.
We are also impressed with the staff at the desk.
My husband and I are continuing our private training sessions with Jonathan who is outstanding.
YMCA has really added to the enjoyment of our retirement.

I love the friendliness of the staff, all the natural light, the nice equipment, and I rarely feel like it’s too busy. The child watch staff is also great! My only complaint is that I wish y’all had childcare on Sundays at the white rock location

We LOVE going to our Y and really appreciate all your team members, especially Sergio! They do a great job checking us in and keeping the place very clean and tidy! We are going to add mom to the membership soon!
Group classes
My Y is absolutely the friendliest place in town! The instructors are top notch and the facility is as clean as I have ever seen.
My little family of 3 (my husband, 8 yr old son, and myself) Love our Y experiences at White Rock. My son does the aftercare and he really loves it. The staff, from childcare to admin to those working on the floor, is always responsive and helpful. I love the variety of workout classes. I will say I think the popular classes deserve a larger space if that was an option (basketball court? or outside on a nice day??). And it would be great if the body pump class had a floor plan or two showing the best way to comfortably fit the max amount of people attending. My favorite part about this Y is the variety of ages attending. Being in a class with 70-90 year olds working out is inspiring!
I love the AOA classes - I wish there were more of them - the great instructors, the friendly staff - i enjoyed the aqua fitness in the summer - once a week was not enough- the instructors were great. Any chance for a Tai Chi class?

It’s our first year and so far I’ve enjoyed everything. I lovd the app. It’s very easy to navigate. The coach is always keeping up posted. So far so good.
