I like the landscaping and little side garden by the sidewalk as you walk up. It brightens my day. It’s also nice to look out over the nice lawn when on the treadmills.
In addition, I like the hand sanitizer stations, the fact there are wipes for the equipment, and especially the towel service. I have left gyms in the past because they got rid of the towel service. This is important to me.

I like the classes I participate in such as cycling. Stretch class would be good on a few more days each week. Parking is an issue at certain times.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The locker room was mostly clean (why I gave 9 out of 10). One shower was out of order.

The instructors are great with kids
We absolutely loved our swim lessons at White Rock YMCA! My older daughter had Audrie for the school-age class, and my younger daughter had Alayza for preschool in June 2026. Both instructors were so kind, patient, and encouraging. They made every lesson fun, and it was amazing to watch our girls become more confident and excited about swimming each week. Thank you, Audrie and Alayza, for making such a positive differenc, we're so grateful for everything you do!
The instructor, Hayden, was very knowledgeable about technique. He was patient with those of us with a fear of open water. He differentiated the lesson to apply to the skill level of all participants.
The swim lessons were great! The instructor was helpful and patient. Learned a lot of helpful techniques and felt more comfortable and confident after my lessons.
I have enrolled my nine year-old twin grand children, and swim lessons last summer as well as this summer.
I have found instructors Darby and Kaden to be impressive. I worked professionally with children and teens for 40 years and in observing both of those instructors was impressed with their patience, their developmental instruction, breaking down information into small pieces for children, smiling, and being encouraging. They often came over to give me feedback after each lesson..
We look forward to more swim lessons in the future.

Pace was great! He really worked on their stamina and shocked me with our kids being able to swim the length of the pool!!!

We had a great experience. Audrey is wonderful with the kids and so pleasant to talk to. She has great energy and communicates well with parents. We’re starting another session in July and hoping the instructor will be as awesome as Audrey!

The instructors were really wonderful. Both Kenya and Hayden were patient and in tune with what our daughters needed for their lessons. I was very impressed with both of them.
Small class size, attentive and engaging instructors
