My sons love playoff sports for the YMCA Richardson. They really care about the boys and always encourages them to be great! Would definitely recommend.
Great
Staff and available classes.
We had a small class so that helped with our child getting enough attention.
I am a senior adult and the nicest people go to the Y. I have made so many friends there and look forward to going there.
The value for the cost is excellent! The counselors were kind and organized. My son had a great time and would like to do it again- he loved the archery and various activities.
Front office people are helpful and courteous.
I like Raquet ball and Pickle ball facility.
Instructors are patient and show interest in helping the kids learn to swim.
Excellent
Friendly. Good programs. A place to make new friends.
It was clean and quiet. Plenty of machines for my use. And the front desk were welcoming and friendly.
Friendly people and the price is reasonable.
Diversity
We LOVE camp on the lake
The only suggestion I would have would be to relax some of the restrictions of swimming for those older kids that can swim
AND to fix the BOAT
Friendly staff and the exercise dance class was lively. Child felt comfortable at child watch.
connivence, trainer Jim Stamm, equipment, friendliness of staff!,
Fun on the water
I love the whole environment!
I was greeted well when i got my membership! I'm sorry, i wish i could remember this woman's name, but she was graceful and kind!!
I also love the fact that they have soo many options for seniors to get in shape and keep in shape and everyone
was soo kind and welcoming!
I Love seeing people thriving in this environment, including all the children involved; they will forever remember the good times at the YMCA.
Thank you for offering soo many people the ability to grow!
Mylee was such a patient and kind teacher! My 4-year-old loved coming to swim lessons and learned so much!
Our instructor Mylee was very patient and supportive with our boy.
Our instructor was great! I think her name was Ciara. She was so patient and kind with my kiddo.
Great instructor. Perfect ratio. Our daughter had THE BEST time and we are so sad they are over. Can’t wait until next summer!
The swim instructor Mylee Nix for the parent child swim class was great! Our daughter loved her and looked forward to going to the lesson each day.
My wife and I use the Richardson YMCA only for fitness activities. My wife is very happy with her yoga instructor.
I am happy with the fitness equipment offered and always seems to be in working order
The facility is always clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the group exercise classes are fantastic.
Great price point, good selection of times for lessons
VERY impressed with our swim teacher Josiah at the Richardson YMCA! He was patient and encouraged our children to try new skills. He clearly explained each component and gave specific, kid-friendly feedback.
We will be definitely be back next summer to continue our kids’ swim lessons!!!
Fun for the kids, and I like that the days were back to back as oppose to spread out like at swim schools.
I did NOT like that the instructor missed a couple of days and then didn’t know if the children had advanced, and he did not advance much at all with the children. I appreciated that another male instructor advanced lots and helped the children know how to swim half way through the pool and back—it was a sight to see! The kids are capable if pushed a little and I wish they all did that.
The instructor talked to me after each class to give an update on how my daughter was doing. She also gave a report card at the end with what she'd learned..I also love the small class sizes.
The instructors almost always have high expectations without being mean or angry. My kids love them and are learning.

I really appreciate your refs. I don't know his name but there is a young ref (with colorful baller shoes - light blue, etc) who always has a great attitude and teaches the boys the rules, the violation etc but still encourages them. My son loves the game and plays PSA on opposite seasons of YMCA and the refs there are not going to be nice - which i understand that's not what they need to do- but they don't help control the games either. At PSA last season we had a coach cussing and always standing inside the court during the games. The refs wouldn't tell him to cool it or warn him about his behavior. It ended up in a coach vs. coach smack talking because that coach was just so mouthy and our players kept freaking out every time they heard a curse word from that coach.
