I really enjoy this YMCA due to the space and the equipment we have there. It does tend to get a little cramped but I understand it will thin out once summer comes.
Only two things I would suggest is updated locker rooms and maybe one or two more ab machines.
Where are the towels?!??! There used to be towels, the were removed during covid, but they never came back, I guess? Also, I wish there was more information/guidance on the running track, people don't know how to use it. Otherwise, the Y is great. It's expensive, but great.
All the different equipment and the staff is really nice, Rodney Guyton makes everyone feel like they are important and are family!!

Thank you so much for helpful life gaurds like Will and Spencer. Thank you for keeping your pool rooms and water at appropriate temperatures for the activities they are meant to serve. (Unlike another branch that I also use) And a big thanks to the women's locker room attendants. They do a remarkable job keeping the facilities clean despite the disrespect of some of the members.
I love love the YMCA I go way back to the old building before this one...I enjoy the YMCA ..
I like the flexibility of when I can come walk. I like that it's clean and employees are friendly.
Customer service is polite and always there to help. The facility is well kept clean. They also keep an eye on your children. I have been a member for over 20 years and wouldn't go anywhere else.

I love the diversity of the Y members and the healthy activities for all age groups ! The staff is so welcoming. The facilities are clean and equipment is modern.
Northern is a great Zumba instructor! Mary Freebed is my home y, but I come downtown soecificallly for Northern’s class.
I also like the sauna and the piano that sometimes people play. It makes for a very warm feeling.
I love the daycare so I can drop my kids while I work out. There’s something for the whole family to do.

My family and I have been members for a little over a month. It's been great. Only thing for the weight training area is possibly more safety clips for the barbells.
Very good. The class is well organized, and there is efficient communication before and during the program. The tutor is nice, encouraging, and patient. Small groups are excellent. The pools for kids are fun and attractive to the kids after the lesson. Very recommended!

Y needs to address need to maintain and gain parking. The people coming to the Y are from all corners of town and cannot easily overtake neighboring streets w limited parking.
