A great experience!
I LOVE DDHunting YMCA!! The weight lifting area has a huge variety of machines and weights. I also love the swimming pools. I appreciate that there are two pools: one pool for playing games and splashing around and another dedicated to lap swimming. This YMCA is both kid friendly and great for serious workouts. The staff are friendly, helpful, and really well trained. I've been present when another member experienced a medical emergency; the staff responded quickly and knew exactly what to do.
Classes, walking track, variety of pick up games in the gym. Pool area.
I miss the music played in gym & track area.
Diversity with so many different religions, beliefs and ethnicities.
All united with one common cause = " wellness."
Very unusual for such a large diverse population to agree on "one topic."

Pool
Great people at the Y. Excellent classes with motivated instructors who help you out. Hope the Y continues to have convenient parking. Some are worried the proposed soccer stadium will displace our parking.
First and foremost, the staff at the David D. Hunting is wonderful and so professional.
The greeter, card checker, Rodney, is the heart of kindness and hospitality!! The questions he posts on the white board behind the desk are fun and he always shares the answers (When asked) with a smile.
The facility is great as are the class offerings (eg. Fit for Life, kids swim classes and so on)
My husband and I love the convenience of the downtown location as we downsized to an urban condo.
The Y is kept in pretty decent condition which makes it feel well maintained.
My husband and I appreciate the diversity and Y mission.
The new sauna and steam room upgrades are great. I love the heat, don’t turn it down

Only instructor I've had is Jen J for BP Mon and wed. She's great. I use track on Friday
They have a piano! (getting it tuned would be cool, I can help do that if you’d like :)
They give each student a thorough evaluation and then place them based on their needs. Very professional and friendly toward the children.

Friendly, kind staff. Very nice lap pool which is what I use almost exclusively. That's why its so important that the lifeguards and locker room cleaners are so great - and they are. Patrons are also wonderful.

My daugher takes ballet there and adores it--it is provides a great way for her to find joy in movement and learn skills.

I really love attending your location out of all the YMCA. It's spacious and the equipment area is top notch. This is the only YMCA that has a steam room. I over hear the staff greeting individuals and welcoming them with a smile. I would recommend a little up date of the men's locker room. The rusty locker and the smell needs to be addressed. However this is my preferred work out facility. Thank you for all you do.
The friendliness of the staff and the quality of the equipment is superb.
So good for our little 3 year old! Will be doing this again but need to go to the Belmont one this time as GR was a little too far for us!

Well I've been a member off in on for years....from the old YMCA..I just think it's a good place to relax and my kids love it ..I pay alot in don't go...but I keep my membership when I wanna go I go.....wish they had something for visitors free...with a member ...
