They have a wide variety of machines and are located close to where I work.
The gym is great! Always very clean and all the equipment I need. Staff are very friendly, whether you're very serious about fitness or want to bring your family here, it suits all!
I’m thinking you took some machines away when you added the new track.
Also, and this is really a problem for me, you took the stationary bikes with seat backs away. I needed the backs to sit upright and I can no longer use them.
Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and cheerful.

Lisa taught the Aqua Aerobics class last Wednesday & immediately following - the Aqua Yoga. This is First time I finally could make me come to Your "Y". Lisa made Her Class - really FUN. I liked it so much, that when I heard she was teaching the Aqua Yoga immediately after, I decided to stay & she made it Easy to follow. omgosh. You have a Delightful Instructor in Lisa. Thank You for HIRING Her. Hope You will give her the positive feedback. I say this - as when I worked My Bosses - did NOT give me any POSITIVE feedback - only told You when you made mistakes.

Wonderful place to exercise. I recently brought a friend on a day pass who lives in Lansing and he was in awe of how expansive the Mary Free bed YMCA was. Everyone is always so kinda, and my family loves coming to this Ymca. Rich is always a kind and smiling face that is always great to talk too.

The staff on the floor is incredible! I did speak with a younger male manager about questions when the equipment was replaced and he seemed unhelpful and dismissive. Unfortunately, I've seen him act unfavorable to staff as well. The floor staff and front desk staff is amazing! The old glutes machine, as well as, the abductor/adductor machine is quite missed by myself and a few of my gym friends. Track is great!

Mary Free Bed YMCA is a wonderful place to do exercise. It has many machines to choose for workouts, a good track, coaching and training available.
Just an overall awesome facility!
The coaches and refs are AMAZING. My kiddo playing soccer is having a blast and the ref is right out there teaching the kids alongside the coaches. The games are not too serious with the focus being on teamwork, having fun and learning the game. My other kiddo who is learning tennis also has an excellent coach, and while she won't be winning any games anytime soon she is enjoying herself and having a good time (a trick since she usually wants to quit if she isn't good the first time she tries something). We will definitely be playing more sports at the Y.
