We love having a facility that we can go to as a family and have fun while working out. My son, Mason, loves the pool and the slide. He also loves being able to play basketball. My husband, Adam, like the machines. I love that it is super clean and friendly staff to assist us.

I have been a life long member at the BAFY.
A couple of things to consider that would improve the experience.
1. All ymca staff especially the counter people need to engage the members better.
2. All might consider wearing a name tag and pay attention as members enter and leave.
3. Something has to be done about people entering the pool and hot tubs without showering!
I refuse to even consider using these facilities any more, its seniors, kids and everyone in between that abuses or thinks the rule doesn't apply to them because they showered earlier that day.
A better more engaged pool staff is really needed in my opinion.
No complaints. The Y is a gem for downtown Bay City. Who would believe that
that the Y would be over-run by pickleball players. The gym was not designed
to handle glare on the pickleball courts. The windows are wonderful but create
a difficult problem for players facing the windows. Wondering if there is a cure
of some kind with shades or other technology! Rock on Y!
The staff is friendly and I love all of the workout options available. The equipment is clean and I can workout any time I want

The welcoming atmosphere presented throughout our whole facility is amazing. From our CEO, Steve, to the ENTIRE staff in ALL positions, we continue to feel the genuine friendliness and attention to the needs of our members. There are SO many opportunities to be involved with and programs that reach out to the interests of the community.
The Y Bay Area Gym 💪 is my second home, clinic, and pass time; in 2015 diagnosed with Sleep Apnea, I’d all but quit trying to get back into health. In Serendipitous time with the arrival of Pickleball, slowly but surely the Y hasn’t or isn’t just something that brought me back to health but IN REALITY, I DON’T SEE HOW IT COULD HAVE HAPPENED ANY OTHER WAY. NOT MY PLAN; DIVINE PROVIDENCE!! 😇😇😇😇😇😇😇
I like most everything about my trips to the YMCA! The facilities are clean, the staff are kind, the pool is so nice. The staff at the kidzone could probably do with some child development training but are kind people.

I like to walk on your track in the winter.
The facility is excellent. The indoor track is where I do most of my winter running. The locker room is a very nice facility as well. There are plenty of programs and activities. We have been members for several years and plan on keeping our membership. Thanks for a great place here in Bay City!

I appreciate the friendless of staff and instructors. Love our spinning classes. They make sure you are safe on the bike and instruction is amazing. Mary Ellen, Monica and Sue and Mike. They are all awesome and top notch instructors. Especially Sue and Mike. Appreciate them.

The facility is well-maintained, and everything is clean including all the equipment. The staff and the members take great pride in the facility, and everyone seems to do their part in taking care of it.
