I enjoy many aspects of what the Y has to offer. I play pickleball on a daily basis as well take classes that are offered at no extra charge. The staff are professional and friendly.
I enjoy the group exercise classes. The instructors are knowledgeable and show up for classes. So much better than any other fitness facility I have been a member of.

We love all the different kind of kids programs you offer, especially summer camp! Our kids always have a great time and look forward to coming back.

The Dow Y is clean which makes me feel good using the equipment. I like that they keep up the equipment so there are plenty of machines to use. I'm currently attending physical therapy at the Y which is convenient to come a little early or I can stay after to use the bike or arm machines. The staff is friendly and they keep us informed of what is being offered. I would say anyone looking for a fitness center they need to check out the Y.

Very clean facility. Nice, knowledgeable & helpful staff. Up to date equipment available. Both saunas are spacious & well-maintained. I receive regular communication regarding: changes, cancelations & up-coming events. Lots going on, all the time. The 24/7 workout area provides valuable & convenient access. It's a great place to be & to work-out.
Very well maintained facility and enjoy going there at least two times a week if not more :)

The CEO is amazing and has brought strength and greatness to the YMCA. He has an open mind to try new and exciting classes. I would like to suggest some other classes. A one day pickleball class, learn how to braid, declutter and organize your life, cake decorating, special needs dance, special needs cooking classes, arts and crafts for adults, learn how to crochet. Some some ideas

I appreciate that when life interferes with my better health plans and routines, the Y is always the same. Friendly staff, great variety of equipment and polite members make it easy to get back on track without giving me excuses not to!
I love being a Bay Area YMCA member! I joined for the close proximity to my home, but the modern facility, well maintained equipment, friendly staff (many of whom are now personal friends), cleanliness and afforability ensure I recommend memberships to all my friends!
I love buying day passes for out of town clients who are here to explore Bay City- after they settle in to their new homes, most have joined, also!
I love the friendly staff and how they welcome you into the Y. For the most part the people that work out at the Y are very cordial. The facilities are clean and there is always something going on. I also like that they promote Bible studies at their facilities because I was part of the original YMCA.

Only problem is window glare for the tons of pickleball players. The Y was built before the army of pickleballers stormed the gym. We need to work on a simple solution like tint the middle bay of windows without disturbing the walkers view on the track!
I swim and use the pool...I use the track for walking. So far I have not joined any group classes. Facilities are great. Staff are helpful.
