We love the Dow Bay Area Family YMCA!!
Clean, safe, and well cared for. They offer classes and multiple amenities. The most important part is the atmosphere created by members and staff, pleasant and caring. It is so nice to walk in and be greeted with warm smiles and hellos.
Variety of classes available and times of day. The Y caters to a broad demographic and pretty much anyone of any age can find an activity to participate in.

The cleanliness of the facility and the courteous staff. I like the option of summer camps for the kids.
Pool and showers are all I use. The pool is clear and an ok temp. Showers are always clean.
The Y is clean and bright! The Y does its best to offer a variety of sport and recreational opportunities to the Bay community. l have been a member for many years, starting at the old location on Columbus. My children loved the many sports and swimming classes at the Y.
The Y is fantastic resource for the greater good of our community, and as a resident of Bay City, I am thankful to have such a shining star in our backyard. It is a modern, safe, clean facility though and through, with friendly welcoming staff that enjoy their roles within the organization. It is a place for positivity, and it continues to expand with updates! Having young children in the Bay City Public School district allows for daycare programming both before and after school with transportation. That is a huge logistic win for working parents to have that feature available. Keep up the good work!
I like that the facility is always very clean and well managed. The classes I have attended have been challenging but not impossible. I especially like the walking track. Going round and round is not really my favorite thing, but it beats any other local options in the winter and keeps me going even in bad weather.
