Joy is amazing, it’s like hanging out with your friend every two weeks. Professionally, she offers ideas on my fade when I ask for advice. The barbershop provides an awesome atmosphere and every employee I’ve ever encountered was happy and helpful. People can do that once or twice unless you’re one of their regulars. However, at Floyd’s on Mopac, they genuinely care and willingly help. It’s a pleasure to get a haircut there and I recommend the barbershop to everyone that comments on my fade, lol.

I really like Floyd’s. It starts when I come in and the receptionist greets me by name and always with a bright and friendly smile. The shop itself is always clean and smells nice, which is very important to me. I cannot say enough good things about Star but I will give a summary here. Star has been cutting my hair for the better part of three years now thru a couple of different shops. She has never made a mistake or left me feeling unhappy with anything. When I was being formed, I got in the hair colic line twice somehow and I have two of them on the back of the crown of my head. Nobody has ever tamed this problem area like Star. Star has a natural gift for styling hair and you can tell that she also truly loves what she does and that’s at least 85% of the reason for consistent, perfect results over 3 plus years. Star has this artistic ability and an eye for what looks best on a person and a real talent for both listening and understanding when you describe what results you’re looking for. We have been through a style or two in three years. However, I really don’t have to say anything anymore and we were just talking about that at this cut because she just knows what to do and that kind of attentiveness is priceless to a customer. She might say ‘are we going short again’ and all I have to do is nod or grunt something like a ‘yes’ and she’s got it. I don’t worry, I don’t watch and I’m completely confident that it will be perfect every time and Star has never failed me. After three plus years, we’ve built a friendship and we have a hard time catching up in the 30 minutes but we sure try. The only time it’s silent is during the shampoo because she has that absolutely perfected also. It’s silent because I’m off dreaming in a land of marshmallows and unicorns due to the extreme relaxation of the service. Are you ready to book with Star yet?? Thank you for all of the services you provide and your consistent attention to a high level of customer service at Floyd’s.

I thought the environment was great. My barber Kyrstie was friendly and professional. We had a conversation about the importance of creating a safe and happy place for everyone and I think this location is a prime example of that. She was attentive not only to me, but the organization for the rest of the day, training new teammates, while simultaneously checking incoming clients. All with a sense of urgency. Aside from that, one of the best fades I’ve gotten in a long time. Will be booking her again. Incredible.
