I was a member at the West Village location and found out that they were closing the location and that everyone would have to go to their Lakewood location. I hate that they gave us little notice, actually days notice. Since the change I have been once. It's much smaller and an inconvenience because its a further out from where I am. I will be attending class tonight and I'm honestly not sure how long I will continue going.
I just wish we had at least a month notice. Very little has been said some the move.
I enjoy the classes and the instructors and have benefited from them but I'm just disappointed at how you all went about the move.

Consistently great teachers. However, with closing of uptown studio im worried about the lakewood facilities getting more dated quickly. Last time i was there water station/ sink was broken. Today female shower stall broken.
The people are great; very accommodating, and make a difficult concept seem inviting!

I come to yoga to a) be a kinder, gentler person and to send out in the world the message that I honor the divine light in every person; b) become physically and mentally healthy and strong and improve my yoga positions and abilities; and 3) to quiet my mind and meditate to the extent I can during shevasanas. I am aware that you want your students to be mentally and physically tough but the truth is no one really wants to be singled out whether or not it is for constructive criticism. In the past some of your teachers have called people out in class and given a militaristic vibe to the class which was not enjoyable and was in fact often discouraging. However, I kept returning, and many of the not so kind teachers have left. The teachers you have currently are all wonderful. I appreciate that if your current teachers have a concern or critical adjustment, they quietly say this to students. This type of constructive feedback is fabulous and much appreciated. The other type of criticisms is counter productive and not what I understand the bikram concept to stand for. Thank you for evolving as you have and thank you for your wonderful studio. I love my practice and am a loyal student.

Very considerate. I love the way I feel during and mostly after class. It is the fountain of youth.
I think Bikram yoga helps me with my flexibility issues and my arthritis, as I am getting older. I've tried other yogas and they were not up to par, in my opinion.

The location and size, layout and design supports the overall experience of a Bikram studio. It is one of the best studios in Dallas, Texas.

I loved being greeted so warmly by the front desk girl. I also enjoyed how clean everything was! I truly appreciated the instructor not being a neo nazi in her teaching style and not getting louder thinking that will help us get thru a pose. I appreciated her instruction yet also allowing the peace. Wish they all were like that.
Everything! the classes, the instructors, the facility, bathrooms! I only wish we had the regular 4:30 Friday class at Lakewood.
I love the studio -- roomy, airy, full of light -- but I miss the 8:30am classes on Sat and Sun and the water pressure in the showers suck and the shower curtains are usually moldy. Love love love Atina at 6am
I'm basing my response on the one class I've taken so far. The teacher was very good, the process of signing in was very efficient. The space/facility is clean, bright and perfectly designed for its use. The studio is easily accessible by automobile or public transportation. That's why I'd recommend it.
