We had a sewer backup and had a lot of black gunk on our carpet. We had tried to get a lot of it out, but you could still see it on the carpet. The gentleman that came out said he had never seen anything like it but would do his best to get it out. He did a wonderful job.
They did a great job and were very fast. Some of our few stubborn carpet stains would not come out, unfortunately.
