Been going for 10 years, got a brand new stylist, said I absolutely had to wash my hair because she didn't know how to cut it. Otherwise, been to my location 100 times at least, I say OK, that's never happened., I get a good haircut, I go to pay, she says it's $40, I go it doesn't even say $40 anywhere on your board, it's always been 25 or 2028, she says yeah, but I washed your hair, I said you chose to do that. I told you I didn't want it washed. It had never been washed while I got it cut, I said I'll pay the 40 but I'll never come back, then some other stylist interrupts and says it's fine. It's $28. She made a mistake, so it's not mandatory to get your hair washed in order to get 2 inches off my length of hair, you should not be charged for it or attempted to charge for it.
