Great massage from Cindy. The facility is beautiful, clean and relaxing. Sorry, can’t remember her name, but the manager who works the desk is very nice and helpful.

The rooms were a little bland, the leather on the stools were cracked and falling apart, and it just was not a relaxing atmosphere. The staff wears sweat pants? Should be a little more professional 🤷‍♀️

I’ll stick with my usual place, it’s way more aesthetically pleasing.

Also, I have every intentions of tipping (and I did) except the receptionist was pretty pushy about it. I felt that was inappropriate.

The main reason I’ll never come there again is the need for my credit card to hold an appointment??? No way! There’s no need for that and that’s horrible customer service. The only reason I made an appointment was because of a gift card.

The reason I gave 4 stars was because I felt Kay did a good job on the massage itself. She was friendly and did a great job!

I was charged 200 for a hydra facial. The tech was extremely nice however she did not use the wand on my full face for the exfoliating or peel. Application was inconsistent and I feel totally gypped.
I should be refunded or comp’d a service.

I really like the warmness of the staff. They are very friendly and helpful. The therapist that I have had are very good and I would recommend them both. Angela and Mattie. They are both excellent and listen to your individual needs. I am very critical of the ability of therapists and am taking this opportunity to give well deserved praise.

The massage was relaxing, however none of my cramps nor pain areas that I identified were addressed with any deep relief. The knots were not rubbed with ANY intensity. Would not recommend for therapeutic purposes.

I wish aromatherapy was included, not an additional cost.

Affordability

Excellent as always! The therapist listened to where my aches were and provided great service accordingly!

I appreciate that each staff member is knowledgeable in his or her craft. If someone doesn't know something, he or she doesn't make up falsehoods to save face. Rather the staff member is honest and directs you to a place where you can find the answers.

I have had two great massage therapists and the others have not been worth going back for. Michelle and Stacey in the Clarkston South are great.

Excellent massages! Every time I have been to LaVida I've had exceptional service. Very relaxing atmosphere and the best massages around.

My massage was o.k. I asked her to work on my shoulders and upper back if she thought it needed more work. She didn't take my suggestion and went for the full body. I don't feel she worked my spots that needed it out enough.

My massage therapist didnt focus in the areas I asked. She scratched me a couple of times. She was nice and sweet but I was not satisfied with my massage.

Need a bell, if one wasn't in place yet please get one, especially for early morning clients at 9:30am and to let you know that we are here. If you are in the back rooms you wouldn't know if a client came in, or not and it's for your safety too. Last time I had to look a couple of times through the glass door and hope that someone would see me, or acknowledge me for I was the first customer and only one there for quite sometime. It was like a ghost town with just the music playing in the front.
Also, a little more training in bookkeeping, or accounting could help, so there's no confusion as to whose paying for who and, if one is on a benefit plan, or not of which I was on it. In addition, if it's on her credit card, or on her husband's card? In October when I was trying to explain this to the owner he wasn't understanding about it, he misunderstood me, until I explained it to him the fourth time around that I am on a benefit plan and why should I pay an extra $49.99 when am the only one who was getting the service and that the recurring charge would start the 20th of every month of $59.99. (This made me be aware that this extra charge wasn't right at all, if I was forced to pay it, but I did not) and my husband is paying for it recurring with his credit card under his account number, and with his name on it. So to deal with that, the easiest thing to do was just to add my name under my husband's name instead of the owner getting all flustered about it, okay. However, I think Natasha, an old time friend, did a very good massage work out, and with all her knowledge, and advice about taking care of your body she's so encouraging!

Estheticians are very good. Good value for money. Services available on Sundays. Easy to schedule appointments. Front staff is welcoming and efficient. Location is clean and comfortable.

LaVida @ Maple and Lahser is the best. Front desk is courteous and friendly, masseuses are great.
