I love the Everybody group for children with diverse abilities :)
Swim lessons and play time, cabin 10 (yoga) and the August zip and field playtime.
Camp Thunderbird teaches my children new skills, boosts their confidence, and tires them out. They come home with stories of feats accomplished and of neat observations of woodland creatures. We've gone two summers in a row now and will be back for many more.

The camp seemed generally well-organized. The staff seemed happy and friendly, which is a good green flag. The grounds are awesome and there are so many really great activities. My camper came home *exhausted* every day, which was great, and he made several new friends. Very, very happy with my experience, will recommend!
Ava and Yates were amazing! They made my campers first week long summer camp time such a success! We can’t wait be back next year! Thanks again!!!
They had fun doing activities they don't normally do
I like the variety of activities and my kids say they are really fun - particularly the water activities (aqua-zip, boating, and zipline). The length of the day is also nice for working parents. I feel like I can get a full workday in between drop-off and pick-up, unlike most other summer camps. The counselors are all friendly and helpful too.

I like the variety of activities and that they're outside all day. My son always comes home a little bit dirty. Very happy, very tired. Very excited about the new stuff that he did.

My son is part of the Every Buddy program and has had the best time at camp. All of the counselors and YMCA employees have embraced having my son. He has tried everything at camp and was so excited when he finally went down the big zipline. He wakes up in the morning ready to go to camp and comes home in the afternoon looking forward to the next day. We were nervous about him going, it has turned out to be the best experience.
The outdoor activities are great! We love that it's an "overnight" experience in a day camp, and we love that swimming lessons are included along with the other enrichment activities.

There are a lot of activities for the kids to do. The staff is incredibly supportive and friendly.
Amazing camp. My two kids enjoyed all the activities, the new friendships and the camp coordinators. They spoke about how each day was their best day yet on the ride back home. My older kid, 10 years old, at first was not happy that I enrolled him and advised "adventure stuff" would not be a good use of his time :). The same kid was all smiles everyday after the camp and was asking me if I could extend his time there after the first week. 5 stars and we will be back next year. Keep up the good work YMCA

Big fan of CTB. I love the everybody program. It is so hard to get programs for children with diverse abilities. Keep it up! There is a large community of families out there that could use a program like this.
My daughter loved it and wants to go back! I love that she gets to do activities she wouldn't normally get a chance to do like canoeing, ziplining, etc.

My kids had so much fun at all the different activities but the one thing they boasted about the most was the Aqua Zip. They had so much fun on it!
I love that each day has fun and interesting activities that my kids actually come home TALKING about. I hear story after story after story about how my daughter climbed the Alpine tower and got to ring the bell! And how my son skimmed the water during Aqua-Zip. And my daughter taught us how to make the bracelets they learned in Art. My kids just LOVE Camp Thunderbird!
The experience was fantastic ! just like the previous 2 years.
The only thing I can think of is that things that belong to the children dissappear. My daughter had her things like water bottle and towel with her name on it and they were never in the lost and found. We don't know if other children are taking them, but the camp should take care of this.
Rowan had a great time! I love the range of activities that he got to do and the relationships that he got to make. Great value and would definitely do it again.

My daughter came home singing camp songs, excited to share about all camps activities and games, and loved her camp counselor Valerie. Thanks for providing a safe, fun, true "summer camp" experience.
