Length of time

The program help students develop social skills. Physical activities for the students to stay active. The counselors are very positive and hands-on with the students.. Ms Bailey is like a second mother to my son she really has been a true blessing in our lives. Nasir really respects her and listens to Ms Bailey.

I like the variety that my son gets to participate in. Don't ask me what he does because he's 6 and getting information out of him is like pulling teeth, but he comes home happy and tired after the day is over.

The activities are fun and keep the kids engaged in nature and physical activity and also promotes team spirit and interaction.

Both of my daughters love all the activities as well as all the counselors!

Activities appear to be geared towards older kids. I like the option for the older teens to be leaders.

Theo had such a great time! We heard a lot about Aqua Zip, Hiking, and STEM.

There is so much to offer to keep the kids engaged.

The staff over the years have been wonderful. I am always amazed when so many staff members know my daughter's name. The staff remember her year after year. The activities are great for the kids. My daughter always has fun.

Inclusivity

This was my daughter’s first year at Thunderbird and she loved it. She enjoyed fishing, zip line, and being with her friends. Communication was clear and frequent. Staff were great.

My daughter absolutely loved Camp Thunderbird. She was always excited to tell me about all of the activities they did. She especially loved all the nature activities.

My kindergartener is usually very nervous to try new things, especially when they’re physical and have some element of “danger” to them, like kayaking, ropes courses, etc. typical firstborn. However, YMCA CTB gave him the opportunity to safely try new and exciting things up to his level of comfort with his age appropriate peers. He came home excited, exhausted and unable to stop talking about all the cool things he did with Miss Emily. Thank you!
