I use the pool 3 to 4 times a week. According to the schedule in the lobby the pool is open for lap swimming from 5:30-10 am. That is great. HOWEVER, there is a class at 10 ( supposedly after lap swimming). The members in this class start coming in about 20 to 30 minutes early. On Tuesday one lady was there at 9:15. She wants a lane to herself. She is not a lap swimmer. She says she wants to warm up but also says she can't swim. She wants to stay in the corner and take up an entire lane. When the other class members show up the start taking down lane lines 15 minutes before the class is to start. On Tuesday one class member told a gentleman he couldn't use a lane at 9:40. I had just finished my swim so I called him over to my lane. This class takes over 3-4 lanes with no consideration for others. Today when I left a little after 10 there were 5 lap swimmers in 2 lanes.

Perhaps the class time should be changed to 10:15 to allow lap swimmers can finish by 10 and then they can take down the lane lines. Otherwise they should just have to wait until 10 like the schedule says.

Great program for all age levels

Nice facility, good program offerings. Needs a bigger space for pilates reformer.

We like the daycare, we enjoy daytime basketball, we enjoy the sports you have for our kids.

I love, and regularly attend, group exercise classes particularly Power Hour on Tuesday evening and Pam C.'s M-W-Fri classes at 9:00 A.M.
I am also interested in trying out the morning open play pickle ball sessions.

Longevity

yoga for osteoporosis class

Pool is very nice.
Workout room too jam packed with machines, bad Feng shui, no breathing room, feels like you're just elbow to elbow with the next person over. Not the greatest layout of equipment.
So much potential for the workout room.
The women's bathroom is kind of gross, honestly, needs to be cleaned hourly.

Everything is very clean. Everyone that works is very friendly!!!!! Out of all the YMCA and Lexington. It's the best hands-down.

I enjoy the Pilates Reformer Progam. The Y has excellent instructors. I lap swim regularly and think the aquatics area at the Beaumont Y is great. I also enjoy the BodyPump and yoga classes offered at the Y.

Yoga. Good instructor and I really like the padded floors.

Great classes available for senior citizens with well trained , experienced staff!

Facility is well maintained, programs are diverse and interesting. I do think the class leaders are of inconsistent quality and expertise, so some extra effort to ensure that they are qualified would be welcome.

We loved the childcare component Saturday morning that gives us a little time to work out!

I love the classes! The instructors are great. There are lots of classes during the day and that works so well for me.

Good instructors. Plenty of machines. Good mix of classes

Great hours & variety of classes. Clean facilities. Snow removal was prompt during the storm. Sidewalks were safe due to plenty of snow melter being applied. Pickle ball is available.

A wide variety off the exercise options and activities.

there is such a tremendous variety of things to do ranging from pick up games of basketball by people of all ages, to the walking track, the variety of exercise machines, isolated individuals lifting free weights, and classes ranging from yoga to bicycle pumping, oh yes and a swimming pool where some learn to rescue an uncooperative drowning one while others swim laps and still others swim timed sprints.
