Zumba and senior exercise classes
I enjoy my aquatic sessions at the YMCA in Farmington. Lisa is an amazing instructor. She’s always showing us new aquatic moves to help us stay active and energized.
The personal trainers and class leaders are professional and helpful, and it's a very friendly environment!

I am very happy with our swim experience here. Previously we had disappointing experiences with a different community swim program and so I decided to try out Carl’s YMCA. My daughters have already had two different instructors which have both been excellent. Very professional, patient, while still being able to connect and joke with the kids. The class sizes are kept small which gives the kids plenty of practice while giving a break in between to catch their breath. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for swim lessons for their children.

Instructors are motivational, encouraging, and knowledgeable. They dedicate time to organizing their classes and provide a positive, inclusive atmosphere. The classes that we take work well with our schedule and are included in our YMCA membership.
It would be nice to have more offerings (maybe at 11 am or so) of very popular classes to allow more people to benefit from them. We would love pilates as an option too. Saturday is missed as well by some of our friends.
Great swim instructors and facility.
Not only the senior fitness classes, beautifully taught by Jamie, but the community of friends we have found here, have made the Farmington Y a worthwhile investment of time and treasure.
Helpful staff. Lots of programs to choose from. Love cycling class…go coach Brown!!! I especially enjoy the wellness programs. So many places to stretch and do your own thing.
The people! My class instructor is great. The people in the wellness area are friendly and so are the members. The front desk welcomes me as I walk in the door. I can't imagine a better place to get healthy physically and mentally
Have been a member for 30 years, taking numerous wellness classes. My son was involved in the martial arts program years ago, which was a very positive experience for him. We have enjoyed all that the Y has to offer! I highly recommend the YMCA. 😊

The pool is always clean and well-maintained. The instructors each have a unique style of teaching, but the end result is always a full-body workout. I am getting stronger every day.
