Dor is so supportive and positive even with a bunch of inexperienced adults throwing on the wheel for the first time. I tell everyone I’m doing pottery at the Y. I love it.

My kids have loved the pottery classes. The instructor is very kind and helpful and they have been having lots of fun. They’ve also made lots of different things. I’m very impressed!

Great facilities, classes, and stacc
i think that the Salem YMCA is a very welcoming place for all ages. The front desk always greets you upon arrival, the facility is clean and well used by people of all ages. Personally, I use the Y's pool for lap swimming and the Women's locker room. The lifeguards are friendly and the locker room is alwys clean and always in good working order.
The staff seem to really enjoy hanging out with the kids and provide a fun and safe environment for them. My daughter loves going to after care!

It’s a great Gym that offers a varieties of classes with professional trainers that always helps. I strongly recommended all YMCA facilities !

The cleaning staff do a great job, the programming is varied, the pool is good for exercise year-round, the staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful, there is a great selection of equipment, the yoga instructors are very knowledgeable, and the hours are expansive.
Nice facilities, convenient location, reasonable price.
As an additional note, it would be nice to get a hook for the middle shower I'm the men's locker room. There was there before the renovation, but not anymore. There are only two total hooks for the three men's showers, which is inconvenient if all three are in use.
Ollie, Jen, and the pool managers have worked hard to make my daughter feel comfortable in the water. They are patient, kind, and make class fun.
The teacher, Miss Jackie is so caring and kind. We had a wonderful time

My kids enjoy both the summer camp and the afterschool program at their school. The staff have all been wonderful. During the summer my car broke down and we went without a vehicle for about 7 weeks which was almost the entire summer and the Y was able to accommodate me and adjust so my kids could have late pick up so my Aunt could get them when she picked up her som after work without being charged (they were on vouchers we received from DMH through our CSA.
So far they all enjoy the afterschool program, my som only wanted to go two days but now wants to add Thursday’s because a preferred staff from the summer only works on Thursdays. They are always happy when we pick them up, showing us art work and telling us what they did
Salem Y is amazing. Staff are top tier and are great supports for my kids.
