Our family absolutely loves the Plaistow YMCA! It’s become such a special part of our routine. I can drop my kids off at Kids Club (which they love), then head to the gym for a workout or one of the amazing included classes. Spin class with Maggie is my personal favorite she’s the best!

The child care staff are so great with the kids, and I always feel at ease knowing they’re in good hands. My daughter recently started at Kelly Brook Camp and she’s having the time of her life. She never wants to leave! We’ve also been doing the parent and child gymnastics class with my youngest and it’s been such a fun bonding activity.

Only suggestion is Plaistow Y NEEDS NEEDS NEEDS A POOL! That would make this already amazing place even better!

I really love how welcoming and caring the YMCA infant day care program is. The staff are so warm and attentive—it’s clear they truly care about the children. I feel very comfortable leaving my baby here because I know they’re in good hands.

I also appreciate the structured activities that help with early development. Even for infants, there’s so much intentional engagement—like tummy time, sensory play, and songs—that helps them learn and grow. The communication is excellent too; I always feel informed about my child’s day, which really builds trust.

Overall, it’s just such a supportive, safe, and nurturing environment. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing my baby is not only cared for, but thriving.
