I’d definitely recommend the Y! I really enjoy the classes I take… the instructors are awesome, and the people are always so friendly! They offer so many programs and do so much for the community. It’s such a welcoming and positive place to be a part of!

My daughter is in a gymnastics program with the director of gymnastics as her coach. My daughter had a negative experience at another gym that prompted her to quit gymnastics. We started again after a year off at the Y and my girl thrived. It was recommended she join an advanced class, which she is loving. She tells me that she feels safe with Coach Lindsey, and I especially love that the coach never forces her to do anything, because my little girl can be quite cautious. This supportive approach helps my girl feel heard, respected, and gives her the confidence to try in small increments. We are very happy at the YMCA!

Each lesson is well thought out, safe and fun . The instructors are attentive and focused.
We are having a great time at the Plaistow location. Our 18 month old just started gymnastics with Lyndsey and is having so much fun. Would highly reccomend!

9/19 kick boxing instructor was wonderful!!
The Y is a very welcoming place. I enjoy the yoga class. The instructor does a nice job of demonstrating the postures and also is encouraging us to try without judgement. The building is bright and well cared for making it a pleasant place to exercise.
The kids have a fun time playing with each other and doing all the various themed weeks and activities. The special guests were great and exposed the kids to different things which was really fun for them.

I love all the classes they have to offer and their hours are great for us. Kids Club is also a great bonus!
Start and end time are so convenient. The staff is great and I have recommended service to a family that is now enrolled.
