My son enjoyed his experience at Camp Kelly Brook. He most enjoyed archery and bug catching.
The staff is great. Nathan loved all the activities (especially archery). He was excited to experience the presenters. Overall he had a wonderful experience.
Clean, good equipment, nice people,
Updating my last response. Camp Kelly Brook was the best camp my child attended.
Very good value
Our child came home with a smile and news to share about her day everyday. She would talk about gaga ball, archery, but catching and gymnastics. She was definitely tired by time she came home. The staff was friendly and Adrianna enjoyed getting to know them and her peers. I enjoyed Adrianna having kids her age to play with. Thank you for a great first year.
We are so happy our daughter had the opportunity to attend Camp Kelly Brook this summer. She had the best time and truly didn’t want it to end!
She fell in love with archery so much that we even got a set for home! It’s been amazing to watch her build confidence, try new activities, and make new friends. The speakers and events they put in were truly great as well. Every morning she was excited to go, especially knowing she’d get to see Mrs. Megan.
Megan is incredible with the kids you can genuinely tell how much she loves what she does. Her energy and kindness made a huge impact on our daughter and us.
We’re so thankful for Camp Kelly Brook. The only thing that could make it better? A pool!
Ryder enjoyed everything about this camp. He attended four different YMCA programs over the summer and Camp Kelly-Brook was his absolute favorite! He has already asked if he can just go to Camp Kelly-Brook for the entire summer next year, The counselors were great, so full of a fun, imaginative spirit!
The YMCA in Plaistow is fantastic. I can workout while my child attends her classes. It is very clean, and the staff are extremely courteous.
Wonderful fit class instructor (Maggie) and very friendly staff.
They offer a variety of programs to keep one active and socially engaged. The instructors are friendly and encouraging.
The pickleball experience is very good. The exercise equipment is also very good.

Teachers are kind and nurturing to the students. They do alot with the kids playing as well as teaching. it's always something new for activities. My daughter loves her class.
We love the ELC at the Plaistow YMCA!
Our little guy is currently in the infant room and we couldn’t be happier with the care he receives! Conor loves his teachers, looks forward to going to daycare every morning and is thriving in their program. We are so thankful we found the Y’s Early Learning Center and are looking forward to seeing Conor continue to grow as he transitions into the toddler room in September!
I am highly recommencing the YMCA mostly because i feel comfortable there. The staff is kind and helpful and the equipment is spaced nicely.! Also i have to drink A LOT of water and the machines hold my water bottle
Pickleball!
Great people.
Flexible times.
Many people prefer the later times.
Most important is the EARLY MORNING 6 TO 10 AM GROUP Weekday.
And early Sat and Sun.
If MONEY is an issue, consider
1) a pickleball only YMCA MEMBERSHIP, where they can't use weights
and can't take classes.
LIkely YMCA could make $120 PER MEMBER that suspends or quits,
by charging say $30 to JUST PLAY PICKLEBALL.
You might even increase revenue because maybe they decide on full membership after enjoying pickleball.
Charge OTHER subsized people $5 more per month.
If they are in bad enough shape financially to NOT afford $5 a month,
then maybe they need to WORK or SPEND LESS elsewhere.
Its great to be a charity, but inflation and increased costs limit that.
Maybe ask the SUBSIDIZED PEOPLE to RECRUIT a full paying member so that way they HAVE TO BRING IN REVENUE if they want the benefit of reduced rate.
Your doing a great job, can't be easy.
But really the important thing is RAISE MONEY by charging those who aren't paying full share more.
People who play pickle and are older , its what keeps them going, what keeps them alive, most of these people aren't 25 year olds that want TOURNAMENT pickleball.
Compromise is good too, even a shared situation of 1 or 2 court for pickleball all the time sharing with basketball players that are just shooting can work, other ymca do this flexible time.
MIKE, please dont share last name, but you know who I am.
Because it’s been wonderful for myself and my husband.
Clean, convenient, friendly staff
Friendly and clean environment Mason always comes home with a smile on his face!
Staff is very helpful and friendly
Three years ago, I was introduced to an aerobic exercise program two days a week. I took on an extra day because I noticed wonderful improvements in my health and in my strength. I can’t say enough about my extraordinary instructor, Wendy Takesian, who makes it fun while work us hard . Kudos!
My daughter is thriving with the care she receives at the PCY!
Friendly staff, clean spaces

Director Janelle has done a fabulous job in her new role over the past year. She is a great communicator and truly cares about all the kids and the staff!
We loved our experience in the infant room and it was very bittersweet to have him move up to the toddler room today. Alicia, Mary and Ava are all wonderful and are amazing with the babies! Conor especially loved spending time with Mary.
We love that the kids are able to go to weekly gymnastics class in the Y…it is one of Conor’s favorite activities!!
