Because of what you have to offer. Those who want to Get and Stay healthy have a lot of options. Classes are a plus. Acces to a nutritionist would be a great addition

Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

I absolutely LOVE the Gloucester Y. I've been a member at Ipswich for 6+ years and have loved it. In the last several months they've lacked focus on the aqua programs so I opted to go to Gloucester - and I'm glad I did. Ruth's HydroFit classes are GREAT. She's fun, tough and so nice. I've also done the Saturday 7am Aqua Bootcamp with Cassie and she's spectacular. Even the members at your Y are wonderful. They were all so welcoming.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention how lovely Andrea, the housekeeper is to all of us. I know Gloucester is new but it is so clean and I really appreciate it. I've never seen a housekeeper at Ipswich.

I'd appreciate it if you could email me the name of the person that Gloucester's administrator reports to......I would love to share positive feedback directly. I would prefer NOT to share this review because of my comments about Ipswich. I'm hopeful that there will be improvements soon.

The Cape Ann YMCA is beautiful! The facility is so clean, safe, well managed with countless offerings for the whole family! My personal favorite being the pool! Thank you Cape Ann Y!

What do you like about our program and activities?

During the summer they are non existent for toddlers so we have suffered tremendously. We recently were going to switch to a chukdrens plan so we weren't paying for basically nothing because there are no classes available in the summer months but we were told our child can't use the splash pad without a full family membership. We decided since our child only used the splash pad once last year it would be a waste to pay that much for a monthly family membership when the cost of a month's membership is comparable to a season pass to water country. So to be honest I think the summer programs and activities are devastating for small children.

Any chance you can increase water pressure in the showers?
It takes 2x as long to shower due to LOW pressure, and the wait line backs up and tempers flair....

Great facility with everything you could need, very clean, very friendly and low key environment. Fitness culture can be toxic, the Y strips this away and creates a neutral, health first, family friendly environment for everyone. Thank you!!
