What do you like about our program and activities?

The YMCA after school program is a fun & engaging program for kids, and SO helpful for working parents! The crew at Rockport Elementary School always does a terrific job!

The Cape Ann Y in Gloucester MA is a class act! The staff is friendly, welcoming and professional. The facility is clean, orderly and comfortable. The range of programs offered is extensive. Love the pool!!

Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

We went to use the splash-pad and my step daughter was a bit scared of the sound of water. The woman running the pool inside was super nice and understanding when I asked if we could swim inside even though it was not open swim yet. She listened and cared that my daughter was uncomfortable and wanted to make sure she enjoyed her time at the YMCA. Thank you, swim instructors/lifeguards for being awesome!

It's a great space for children to swim while u work out. Or change it up n take a splash with your child(ren). Summer, everyone loves the splash pad that opens up. They have programs for all ages. My child loves camp spindrift in the summer. This is her last year going tho, she started when she was just 4 yrs old. Many great years thus far!

Staff is so helpful & patient! My toddler loves the outdoor splash pad! would definitely recommend & can’t wait to use more of the awesome amenities!

What do you like about our program and activities?

All the camp counselors are amazing! They are so friendly and make sure all the kids are included and having fun! Austin is one of many counselors that has gone above and beyond for my son. I feel thankful for such a great team working with our children!

Last year the theme weeks were more prominent.

Staff this year seem less interested.

Camp tuition is high.

My son loves camp. I’m happy he has a safe place to go during the day.

2. Fabulous pools at the Cape Ann Y and North Shore Ys with great balance of activities for all ages - especially good for youth & families
3. Ability to use other area Ys to take advantage of different schedules or programs
4. Facilities are cheerful, clean and well-maintained.
