Classes and instructors are great, facilities are clean, so many machines and weight stations that you never have to wait for anything, staff is really nice, membership is very reasonable for all that you get! I wish there were more and later classes on the weekends and Friday afternoons.
As a very happy employee, I would always recommend folks to visit our Y !

Professionalism of the staff, they put you in a good mood. The facility is outstanding and the equipment. And it is so important for mental stability, as well as physical to keep moving and keep your muscles and tone with your brain.

I attend classes three times weekly but am aware of all that the local Y offers for all family members and all ages. It's a wonderful community resource for everyone.

The teachers are amazing and my so loves the enrichment programs. I am definitely going to miss the ELC when he goes to kindergarten in the Fall.

I have two children in the program and am an active parent at team events and competitions. I believe Coach Dave and his staff have the team headed in a very positive direction. Evidence of this progress was shown at the recent YMCA District Championships (Jan. 26-28), where YNS placed first overall and across many different age groups/genders. This is our first time winning the competition in several years, and our first time placing 1st under Coach Dave's leadership. Our coaching staff has provided excellent on-deck leadership and stability after a period of significant coaching turnover and swimmer attrition. My biggest concern as a YNS parent is that our excellent staff is stretched incredibly thin between their coaching and administrative responsibilities - thereby risking the gains we've made over the past two years. Additional coaching staff would be very helpful - particularly at the LVO and Ipswich sites - and additional off-deck resources from the Y could be beneficial as well. For example, can the Y provide additional administrative support for tasks like team website maintenance or social media oversight? Can Y training staff be made available to design (with Coach Dave's input) and oversee a strength and conditioning program? We have incredible existing talent on the team, a built-in pipeline through the Y's expansive swim lesson program, and access to the best swim/fitness facilities of any team in New England Swimming. I hope the Y remains committed to supporting and growing this great program, developing & retaining the great coaches we have, and continuing to find ways to leverage the Y's resources for the benefit of our young athletes.
I love the gym the yoga classes and cheer program
Northshore Elite has become our second family. The coaches and cheerleaders are the most amazing kind people. I could not ask for a better gym and program to have my 3 girls be a part of. There is a great sense of community, hard work and respect. We love being a member of the Northshore Elite family!

LOVE the Sterling YMCA facilities, the staff and the volunteers. My daughter has grown so much playing with the Kiwani's. I love watching the growth in skills and the amazing teamwork that forms throughout the season.
