There's so many things to do at the Y. It offers a variety of classes and activities. There's definitely something of everyone.
I think the Y has great offerings. It's unfortunate, though, that people clearly lie about their children's age to get them into a class. Twice, kids about seven years old were in the 0-5 open gymnastics. One of then knocked my child down running through all the littles. People also use it as a place to drop off their child and hangout with their friends. They are not paying attention to their child bullying someone else's. It's not the Y's fault, but it did make us leave early.
We do not feel crowded while working out because there is a large assortment of workout stations. The facility is kept very clean. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
I only just started my membership but I feel like I already have a better attitude about doing things to maintain and improve my physical health- the people at the Beverly Y are so friendly and helpful and I feel very welcome there.
I like that there is inclusion for all types of gymnasts. My daughters have different abilities and learning styles, yet they both have their gymnastics needs being consistently met.
