Well organized program with excellent coaching staff and welcoming environment
Coaches are focused on each individual team member in a positive way and support them to master the skills for each level.
There is plenty of practice time for each event and the practice drills suit the development of each particular skill.
Focused on developing each gymnast to the best of their ability and to support confidence and a team mentality. This results in a can-do frame of mind for each individual and a feel-good moment in each individual when the skill is mastered. It helps develop a powerful belief in one's self to succeed through focus and determination.
Program & coaches
Team is such a great community to be a part of! All of the coaches and staff put loads of time, thought and care into all aspects of team! We absolutely love it and look forward to what the future holds for our gymnast!
Coaches are wonderful. Patient and kind. Good schedule. Not overwhelming.
My daughter gained more strength, flexibility, and endurance during the past year of training with coaches on a pre-team Phoenix United. We are very fond of this opportunity. Thank you!
I find it an unnecessary safety hazard for unsupervised young kids to have the large and medium floating boards in the pool next to the lap swim lane. Some of the kids regularly push the floating boards over the lane line into the lap swim lane in front of lap swimmers. This can easily cause injury to the lap swimmer. It appears that the lifeguards today turned their heads in an attempt not to notice or respond to the young girls pushing the floating board into the lap swim lane. I spoke with one of the lifeguards, and she said any changes would need to come from management. Especially during crowded times, I recommend that children not be permitted to have the floating boards in the pool without their parents in the pool with them. Alternatively, maybe two lap lanes could be set aside in the 8 lane pool. Thank you.
Great facility, amazing programs for all ages. Clean and organized. Helpful and friendly staff.
It's such a great place. It has everything you need with multiple spaces for the different kinds of group exercise, tons of classes to choose from daily, an enormous pool, great weight and cardio area, plus everyone who works there is super friendly and the place is really, really CLEAN!! Also, I love the vibe. No cameras or video allowed. Just regular people working out for their health and well-being. It's a safe space for all.
The YMCA offers so many classes. There is something for everyone. People from surrounding communities come to the Beverly Y Sterling Center to play pickleball.
Everyone is kind and welcoming!
great time playing pickleball
I love all the programs.
My daughter LOVES gymnastics, swim, and sports
The Y offers something for everyone in our family from fun kids programs to exciting exercise classes to top-notch equipment and facilities. It’s a place I can go for some peace of mind, for connection with friends and to bond with my kids while promoting a healthy lifestyle. It’s one of our family’s favorite places.
We love that our daughter gets the opportunity to swim, take a gymnastics, sports and yoga class. We love Ms. Kim and Ms. Beth.
The Y has a gym and offers many classes that are included in membership .
Friendly staff, excellent air quality, bright lighting, great equipment, variety of exercise options, clean environment.
It’s great
Great atmosphere, helpful staff and lots of machines and classes.
Beautiful facility and awesome staff.
Great facility and staff, many options, and always clean and not overly crowded.
Great facilities and wonderful community!
Great place to workout nice staff
The program is perfect for my kids and they are developing and learning a lot. The teachers keep them very engaging.
I love the dedication to the kids that the entire staff has; it truly does feel like an extended family when you walk into the Y buildings.
The only comment for improvement I have is in the pricing. I understand prices are raising but when you extrapolate the additional cost for the 2Phone number removed school year with multiple children in the program it seems a bit much. For instance in our case you are asking for close to $200 more a month. As we can all agree, that is a significant sum, and from our point of view we are now back to paying what was an infant and Pre-K rate when we have a toddler and Pre-K participants.
Coaching - confidence building - teamwork
I love the YMCA of Greater Beverly! The staff, the cleanliness, the babysitting, the swim lessons! I’ve invited my family and friends! I honestly feel like home! I honestly wish I could work here! This facility completes me 😃
friendly, clean, great equipment though safety latch not working at treadmills, reasonable cost, close proximity, good Wifi, and most importantly clean disinfecting wipes available throughout
It is clean, bright, accessible, LOTS of classes
wide variety of programs and activities for the entire family

The Y's youth programs help kids develop key teamwork skills and the staff are great at what they do.
