I like how many classes are offered, the variety, and how many machines are offered. I do wish there were more classes after 5pm, as i work full time 9-5pm and cant attend classes unless they are between 6pm-9pm. I also wish there were more weekend classes. I love that I can visit different YMCAs when I travel too.

I especially love the HIIT and balance board classes with William.

I love the extra activities they do during the school year. Swim, gymnastics, yoga, sports and STEM were all big talking points after school. I also love all the art projects Alden has taken home this year!

Excellent for the whole family

We love the variety of everything offered. My daughter is 4 and she’s been with the early learning center at Sterling since she was 6 months old. Every year has been such a wonderful experience for her. Ms. Elizabeth & Ms. Mari are her teachers this year and it’s just been such a delight for not only my daughter but myself. The comfort of knowing my daughter is in such good hands during the day is so important. Thank you so much for everything

There are a lot of different activities the kids can do throughout the day. There seems to be enough staff to cover the number of kids well, and our camper comes home worn out but happy by the end of the day. It's a great alternative to sitting around in the house all summer! This has been a life-saver! :)

Staff is great - verry accommodating and communicative

we love the gymnastics camp. My child loves having time in the gym, plus swimming and other camp activities. As a parent, its nice that she is indoors out of the sun and rain. We don't have to worry as much about sunscreen, bug spray or raincoats .

Excellent caring staff, clean pool and facility.

The facility is very clean and well maintained. The staff is lovely. And so many different programs to choose from. It’s great.

I’ve been a member of the Y for many years, and I truly love my gym—it’s my happy place. The equipment keeps getting better, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the pool area is the best on the North Shore.

The one thing I’d really like to see improve is cleanliness. Unfortunately, this has been an ongoing issue for years. The men’s locker room is often dirty, and many of the machines could be cleaned more regularly.

I love this Y and want to see it continue to improve. A cleaner facility would make a huge difference for all of its members.

It is always clean and it’s great to come there, since I work at a different ymca. The only thing I will note, is that there have been a couple times when I have come in and the pool was closed due to unforeseen circumstances. I understand that weather and accidents happen, however, if the pool and the front desk fail to communicate to either other about those closures, it makes it difficult for clear communication to our to members.

Beautiful facility with dedicated employees

It’s an awesome facility! It has so much to offer for all ages at all levels! The gym area & equipment and the different studios are always clean. The staff is always pleasant & welcoming as well as helpful and knowledgeable.
I always recommend the Sterling Center to people who are looking for a great welcoming fitness facility and which offers so many options!
