Being able to play in a competition and with my friends. As well as being able to practice and compete with my friends.
The Jr. league has many great qualities to it. In general, it gets kids out of the house and off their computer products that have taken over their life. Also, kids get to meet new kids throughout the community. As far as golf is concerned, the golf program enables kids to learn critical life lessons. One, making their own decisions(parents are not allowed to chime into what they decide on the golf course). Two, the feeling of competition. Three, honestly(play the ball where it lies, dishonesty will only get you nowhere).

Casual and relaxed game environment was very welcoming to my son who was new to the game.
The league was well organized and offered a great introduction to competitive golf. We also appreciated the co-ed experience, the instruction from the PGA professionals and the ability to interact and play as a team in a very individual sport. We will be back again next season!

We loved that there was a match each week and my son enjoyed his time on the different golf courses. I could also see improvement in his skills. We definitely want to do it again next year.

It was a great learning experience for my young golfer who sometimes thinks he knows it all - it showed him to work with a team on the golf course to check shot approaches and aim. I even learned a few things as a spectator from the coaches!

We like that it provides a learning space for our son to learn the game. The matches and competition are good as well. If I could change one thing, I would make the season longer. They really enjoy it.

Great experience and great instruction for kids just getting into golf.
I thought it was great. It was a good value with the amount of instruction and time out on the course that the kids got. We’re definitely doing it again next year.

Kids get to play in a scramble like format, so a bad shot is not really counted against them and they can focus on the next shot. Great for kids just getting into the game and keep them focused even if they are not playing their best that day.

This is an excellent way to get the kids away from the technology and outside. My grandson enjoyed meeting new people and improving his golf game!
Our club - Countryside in Mudeline- was fantastic! Alex and the coaches made it fun for all the golfers. They were also super inclusive to novice golfers. We have participated for many years and will continue to do so for all of our children.
I love coach Jake! He really cares about the kids.
