Kevin Weeks & his staff at Cog Hill are amazing!
Everything about the league is wonderful for juniors learning the game of golf!
Really like that the parents are kept out of the way of gameplay.
Fun group of kids and parents. Very relaxed atmosphere. Kids did well and would recommend doing it again.
Great experience for kids and an excellent transition into competitive jr golf
On course play and social interaction
The coaches and staff are all great and helpful!
The program at Cog Hill Country Club is well suited to the needs of a child golfer. It is organized and runs smoothly. It maintains the interest of the child while teaching the basics of golf. It is designed to be fun for the kids and it accomplishes that objective. The pros are great and patient with the kids. Kevin Weeks, the head of the program, is excellent in his role. He is organized, calm and makes everyone comfortable with the experience.
Great way for kids to learn to play in a competitive environment.
Organized, good communication with parents and golfers, good coaches
Our family really enjoyed the coaches. They worked so well with out daughters. They walked them through steps on improving their golf skills and recommended fitting, which we used and were very happy with the results. We will definitely be back next year.
What I like most about the PGA Jr. League is that, low a relatively low cost, it allows kids to receive professional instruction, play on great courses (some of which they would likely never have access to; private Country Clubs, without being members), and, with the 13U division, exposes them to a sport they might not have exposure to, and with the 17U, gives them real preparation for High School and College level golf. My son just completed his 6th season and, going into his Freshman year, will be trying out for his High School golf team. His confidence and course management skills he has developed over the past 6 years will certainly make him a better player moving forward in life. Thank you for putting together such great program and my son certainly looks forward to his next 3 years of eligibility for the PGA Jr. League.
The kids want to golf and enjoy it!
The hands on experience the kids received in skill building and then getting to see them apply it on the golf course. Wonderful program! My child grew immensely thanks to this program. Thank you.
The set up is great for young kids to get involved, be active and safe!
We have done this for a few years now and it’s always fun!
This is a great program to get kids involved in the game.
I think the league is set up well for the kids to get some good practice in as well as competition.
I liked everything about the league. The coaches were great- patient and knowledgeable. Rob runs a very organized program and leads his team and the kids well. The course was nice and all in all we feel the program was a great value for the money spent.
Thanks for the opportunity to review this program. This was our first year and we will be back.
