It’s a great affordable way to get kids to learn the game!
The coach Stacy at CLCC was great.
Kids get to learn golf in a real life experience.
Coaches Keith Donovan and Guy Marino at Schaumburg Run a first class program. Absolutely outstanding.
It’s been a great opportunity for my son to play golf!!!
It gives my child a chance to play regularly with peers at a reasonable cost.
Coaches and thoer approach. Great balance of understanding game and allowing kids to grow and do other sports
Structure!
I loved the matches. It gave players an opportunity to practice their skills. I would love to see a Fall league in the south suburbs.
My kids love it and it was well organized. The coaches are awesome :-)
Great learning and good opportunity to generate interest in the game
Kids get to learn, practice and enjoy golf while making new friends.
It was a great experience for my son. The coach was fantastic and the time on the course was wonderful. There was enough competition for him to learn how to win and lose without being overwhelming for a new golfer.
Fun program. I only wish there were more matches and that the kids did not have to be put in groups of three and sit out every third hole!
The program over at Boone Creek golf club was fantastic. Both my boys were in the program this summer and were hesitant to try a new sport. Rob Sweno and his team ran an excellent program and was a great balance of fun and learning the game. As a result of this program, both kids fell in love with the game and can’t wait to get out on the course. We’ll definitely be back again next year and look forward to another awesome golfing season with Rob and his staff.
Program was fantastic and a great value. My son had a great time and learned a lot. I'm looking forward to next season.
Love the team aspect of the league!
All Star competition
The coaching, the ability to play new courses. My son loved the experience.
I love golf in general since I was young. I introduced it to my son and he enjoys it. Then the opportunity came for him to play PGA Jr league and he was excited and interested. He likes competition and team work.
The coaches, the schedule, the price. —- everything :)
The structure and instruction is great for young golfers.
Opportunity to play. However, our U17 team was treated badly this year. They weren’t allowed to play for championship game due to small group size ( which was due to the fact that schools had started the very same day!) Shame on PGA junior league
Well organized, a great intro to play, and a great challenge to more experienced players
The sportsmanship and friendships that the kids develop. They also learn that golf is both an individual sport, but also a team sport.
I love the 2 man scramble format!! Very smart. Keeps them interested
Timber Point had great communication with all the parents of the kids in the league. The kids all improved their game while enjoying the game. Their was tons of support from parents.
Great venue to get juniors involved in a team event.
My son learned a lot and had a lot fun - definitely built some confidence too. It was great for him to be able to play each week with his peers! Great program!
