Focus on development of the kids.
We love the PGA Jr. League and will continue to participate in it. I just the season was a little longer and/or there were more matches. It is too short. It's like once the kids start getting the hang of it and start improving, it's over.
It’s a nice and fun format to introduce young golfers to the sport. Team play makes it fun and reduces the stress of each shot while making it a competition and way to learn the rules of play. Most courses were super accommodating to parents following. I have daughters in the sport. My Jr League player is less enthusiastic about golf, in part bc of that lack of other girls and that it ‘is boring’. We lucked out finding another well matched girl on her team and the format made it so fun for them. Need to keep bringing more girls to this!! I think her buddy aged out so hopeful I can get mine youngest to do this again. I loved it.

This was our first year trying the PGA Jr. League and it was fun! Our daughter had lots of fun and she wants to try it again next year.

Not only has his game GREATLY improved because of the incredible coaching, but his self confidence, esteem, knowledge of the game, and lessons learned in ethics, personal pride have extended to his life outside the game. I have encouraged a number of his friend parents to get their kids involved in the PGA Jr. League. Thank you for putting together such a great program and offering professional level instruction at a very affordable price.
It's a great opportunity to introduce kids to the game of golf. I think most players really find the potential of the golf game in their teenage years and beyond. PGA Jr. is a GREAT way to move the bar at a younger age through an organization that is easily accessible.
