Kids can play
Coach Tyler was awesome, the kids loved being part of the team!
We enjoyed the practice every week and also they game during the weekend that allowed our son to understand how the game actually works!
This was our first season and it far exceeded our expectations. The value for the price, the quality of the instructors, the level of communication, and the comfortable, respectful competition were fantastic. Our son really liked his coaches and will be doing Operation 36 with them this fall and winter, and he looks forward to another season of Junior League next year.
The concept is backed by local pro’s investing in jr. golf. Our pros are wonderful. This was my grandson’s first time taking an interest at age 12. I bought him clubs, shoes, polo shirts and all the necessities. Happy to do it. He had a great time. He caught the bug and will keep playing. My only disappointment was the timelines of the PGA’s obligations. Uniform came the day after his last match. Otherwise 8.5/10. Tip of the cap to the local professionals. Support them more please.
I like that the league gave my child a “next step” into the golfing journey.
We all had fun and my son learned a lot!
PGA jr. league is a great way to start young kids into the game. So far my son and my family love it.
Fun, team inspired atmosphere. The coach makes it fun to play golf instead of just going for private lessons.
Confidence building, meeting new people, independence, playing new courses, being outdoors. Positive experience, socializing
The way the kids are welcomed on the course and find themselves part of the community. They are building life long skills.
It’s a way way for kids to learn the game of golf and also build community
Kids loved it, parents heavily involved

It was a good experience!
I like the lessons and then the matches. Our instructor helped both of our boys improve their golf skills.
It’s a great environment for my 10 year old girls to learn the sport. Coach Mark Thornewell is excellent and has been instrumental in my girls enjoying the game and improving their skills.
Wonderful coaches, great team atmosphere, healthy competition.
Structured play
Well organized, nice course, no major commitment, knowledge coaches
A good introduction to tournament play for kids
It’s been an absolutely great program and the Staff at Pine Hollow golf club in Clayton NC are second to none!
Consistent exposure to the game. Individualized training and competition based on age and level of play.
It is a wonderful, low pressure, positive atmosphere for kids to be introduced to the game!
Instructor, Jason Sims, was great with the kids. Kept it simple and fun for them to enjoy learning golf. For the price paid to participate, the value received is awesome, hats/shirts/instruction/range balls. My daughter walked away from this experience wanting to do more and she was able to see parts of her game that needs work through this program.
So far I have just been involved in the registration process, as the league play does not start until 9/7/26. But what I have experienced is a well thought out professional approach to drawing young people to the program. The support provided to our program has been phenomenal and our representative Chelsey Guoynes has been a great asset. The uniform fulfillment process has worked very well and our jerseys should arrive later this month. I know our junior golfers are excited and ready to get started. Thank you so much for your guidance & support!
Really great format. The best way for kids to grow a love for the game and also make friends.

It’s a fun way to play with friends at your level.
We also really like the leaders that have to put this together. It’s a lot of work to organize the league on a weekly basis.
