This was the first season my son competed in the Jr. League and it was great. He thoroughly enjoyed learning and had a great time competing. He made the All-Star team in his first season. He has one more to go. All the coaches were great and the home course (Crane Lakes) couldn't have been better. Special thanks to Rod Perry!!!!
I loved how much it got my daughter excited about golf. She had been doing classes thru First Tee for a while and this allowed her to put into practice everything she had been learning. She was able to see how all the skills come together and better understand the game and gamesmanship of golf.
The coaching and all around experience for our kids playing in our local PGA Jr league is fantastic! A great group of individuals with a huge commitment to the success of junior players!
It’s a great program to get kids involved with and loving golf. My son has learned and his game grown so much in just his first season. He’s 11 and he will continue to go through the program until he’s older.
I can’t say enough good things about the PGA Junior League program in Wisconsin. It is a tremendous opportunity for young kids to be introduced to the game of golf through real competition, while also developing so many of the lifelong skills that naturally come with the game: patience, persistence, teamwork, respect, sportsmanship, and drive.
The Junior League format creates an environment where kids can compete, improve, support their teammates, and learn to handle both success and adversity. It truly provides an experience that goes well beyond simply learning how to play golf.
I also can’t speak highly enough about the coaches and the program at Kohler. Year after year, they provide an exceptional experience for the kids. Coach David and his staff have worked with our family for nearly seven years and have had the opportunity to coach all four of our children during that time.
We feel incredibly fortunate that our kids have been able to be part of such a wonderful program and to learn the game from coaches who care not only about developing golfers, but also about developing great young people.

We’ve had such a great experience with the PGA Kids Program! The course is fantastic, and the entire program is extremely well organized and run. Mark Thornewell, Chip Rancos, and the entire staff have been incredibly helpful, welcoming, and supportive.
Most importantly, my son absolutely loves being part of the program. He’s learning so much about the game, improving his skills, and having a ton of fun at the same time. The coaches do a great job of creating a positive environment where the kids can learn, compete, and enjoy golf.
We really appreciate all the time and effort Mark, Chip, and the staff put into making the program such a great experience for the kids and families. I would highly recommend the PGA Kids Program to any parent looking to get their child involved in golf!

It is a great program that teaches the children the basics of golf and allows them a fun outlet to practice those learned skills.
Great program for kids and teens! The best part if the access to Grandover courses and practice facilities that allows then to play in good conditions. Also, the opportunity to travel to other courses and compete with other teams.
The amount of time on the course, both matches and practices. Our coach was excellent as well
I love the consistancy in which the practice and play. I do wish we could switch it up a bit to include playing the back 9 and stroke play, in stead of match play every week.
The team aspect of the competitions are great. The kids make many friends during the season.

I like the two player best shot team format for matches. Less pressure and encourages teamwork. Also nice for the players to experience playing matches at other golf courses. Great opportunity to participate on a team representing their country club.

There are a lot of things to like about the program. I really appreciate the opportunities the Jr. PGA offers my 11 year old to compete, practice, and work with others interested in learning the sport. The level of competition was outstanding and challenge of competing on different courses around the state and region really afforded my child to gain invaluable experience in the sport.
Everything, the coaching, the matches, the families. This is a great program.
It gives my daughter confidence and she enjoys playing all the different courses.
