It's a great league. There is one major issue however. Our daughter is doing great and enjoys it, but her brother (who has a muscular disorder and cannot walk distances or carry a bag, but is very good at golf), was not allowed to play this year. All he would need is a cart, and he would be on par if not better than the golfers his age. This is not inclusive and possibly a legal violation.
The efforts and energy put into the events.
Great fun for youth golfers
It was my 9 year old son's first time playing. He loved loved the shirts and PGA hat - he thought they were so cool (and it made him feel like the big golf guys we see on Tv).
He had a great experience, learned a lot, and loved being on the course every week. As parents, we liked the length of it, the 2 practices a week, and getting to travel to other courses.
I love the positive & encouraging feedback from all of the coaches! My son also loved the 2-man scramble format of the matches. He is still fairly new to golf and this was a great skill-building experience for him. Loved everything about it!!
This is such a wonderful program for our kids and our staff take great care of the kids
Great instruction and opportunity to play golf at both fun and semi competitive level for beginners.
It was a lot of fun for my son. He learned a lot. Could have used a little more instruction during practice however. Overall it was a good program and we will be back next year!
I liked the opportunity for young kids to compete in golf, and learn about sportsmanship, strategy, the rules of golf, and meet new people.
Look forward to next season.
My kid had fun, that was the most important thing. She got to hang out with other kids and great people doing something that has meant a lot to me in my life and it was a great experience for her.
The amazing, patient team! The positive reinforcement given and the structure.
My child gets to learn as he plays . I believe it’s more fun since the kids are around the same level of skills.
It is a great way to introduce juniors to the team concept of golf. Early on, kids need a social component to sports to help drive their progression. For individual sports like golf, I think it’s critical to have team events mixed in.
PGA Jr. is a great way for younger players to learn competitive golf and have fun while doing it. This allows them to play new courses and meet new people they may play with and against for years to come.
This year was my daughter’s first year playing. It was a great opportunity for her to be challenged and improve her skills.
The coach/instructor was great. Our daughter liked going to practice.
Coaches and Events were incredible. We love Will Ferris and Evan Lambert
It’s a great opportunity for my kids to learn about the game, compete and make friends. It has helped them develop in their golf game as well as as a person.
The organization of it and the coaches at Lake Forest in Ann Arbor.
Todd Dorsey was so great with the kids.
I like how it puts a sense of team into golf
My son learned so much about the game
Of golf and how to play it. Connor at crooked stick and his staff were amazing and welcoming for First name removed.
He had a great time with the other kids and as a 7 year kept up while contributing with his parter to win some holes!
This is an amazing league for kids and I wish I had this when I was a boy.
PGA Jr. League has afforded First name removed the opportunity to continue learning the game of golf and challenges her as an athlete. She enjoys her time, making new friends and being apart of such an esteemed group.
I love that kids can play different courses. Low pressure but they feel very official with the jersey and hat. Great experience and helpful for gaining comfort with rules and etiquette.
I love that it’s a teaching league. The matches we had where there was a pro present teaching the kids golf etiquette along with skills like reading the green, slowing down pace, breathing was extremely helpful for the young inexperienced players.
The coaches are amazing and genuinely care that the children have the best time! They work hard to ensure the kids will love the game for life.
Teaching kids the structure of the game at an early age
Great experience for beginner golfers. Jamie Wescott at The Country Club of Scranton is the best!

We love Coach Amy and have seen significant improvement in my son's golf swing and game. She makes learning fun and engaging and he enjoys practice and tournaments.
