The online check-in process works well to minimize wait times. The location I use is clean. My stylist is friendly, listens closely, gives me nice haircuts, and is consistent from visit to visit.

I go to miss amanda she's the store manager at Wake Forest off of retail drive. She is amazing she used to be at the Knightdale location but I definitely drive all the way up the 25 minutes to Wake Forest just to get my haircut. She is amazing woman her leadership skills communication skills are top-notch superb I cannot say enough amazing about her. Her store is always clean organized her people respect her so much she makes it feel like a family atmosphere with professionalis she is a person I hold in high regard. I even wait months at a time till I'm down in North Carolina from Virginia to get my haircut just by her so if there's anything corporate can do to show their appreciation to her it would be well appreciated. Amanda thank you so much for all you do you're amazing stylist amazing leader and truly a remarkable person.
I’ve had several haircuts at Sport Clips, and overall the experience has been consistently solid—but what really makes this location stand out is Laura.
Sport Clips as a brand does what it promises: a sports-themed environment, straightforward services, and a system that’s built for efficiency. You can usually get in and out without much hassle, and the MVP service (with the hot towel and scalp massage) is a nice bonus if you want to upgrade the experience a bit. That said, like most chain places, the quality can vary depending on who you get.
That’s where Laura completely changes the game.
Laura is hands-down one of the best stylists I’ve come across. She listens carefully, asks the right questions, and actually pays attention to the details most people overlook. You don’t feel rushed in her chair, and she takes real pride in making sure the cut looks right from every angle. Whether it’s a simple trim or something more specific, she’s consistent—and that’s rare.
Beyond her technical skill, Laura is just easy to talk to. She strikes that perfect balance of being friendly without forcing conversation, and she remembers preferences, which makes repeat visits feel personal instead of transactional.
If you’re going to Sport Clips, I’d strongly recommend booking with Laura specifically. The overall experience of the store is good, but she’s the reason I keep coming back.
