HOWEVER, VERY IMPORTANTLY, I'd like you to take this in, very particularly!
I have a female friend who is retiring, fit and keen to get an electric bike. She'd sussed out my Scott but was doing a lot of research of all major brands offered in Ballarat.
I was enthusiastic and suggested checking you guys out and she stated very emphatically that she'd been there and would never go back.
The person who 'served' her was half-hearted, disengaged and not prepared to expand on details of types and range and suggested she'd be better to look on your website.
She's a person who seeks quality and would've been a long-term purchaser of accessories and workshop expertise who could easily afford one of your best bikes but at this stage settled on 'Specialised' as she found the service and the attitude far superior.
Although she's not a bitchy person in any sense, she would be sharing her opinion in her network whenever the conversation got into her choosing an ebike.
I respect that it is difficult to be truly present for every client or we rule them out as not likely for whatever...but here you have a positive, open person in your shop with no other customers and this is what she made of the experience. It really is unjustifiable.
I believe in the positive power of feedback. I want you to do outstandingly well but authentic, engaged client interaction is absolutely paramount in demonstrating ongoing customer care and front-end staff that should reflect and embody the best values of your organisation. This is NOT about 'McDonaldising' staff with insincere, robotic 'have a nice day' platitudes, but about delivering genuine, enthusiastic and engaged customer-focussed attention.

Friendly staff who know you by name and don’t treat you like an idiot if you aren’t sure about something. Fast and efficient service and don’t over charge if services not needed.

Fantastic quality and equally fantastic service
I took my bicycle for a puncture repair and brake check expecting to have to leave it for a couple of days. However, the repair was done immediately, the brakes checked and I watched the whole time learning tips on bicycle care. Everyone was friendly - and I rode my bike home. Very, very pleased and highly recommend.
