I think the instructors and staff are wonderful and do a great job!! I really only have one negative comment - - my cardio classes are getting VERY crowded! Zumba is very crowded too! I am hoping this is just due to being January and will drop some in number! Good problem I guess for Y to have but I don’t feel very safe! When you put 60+ people in a gym to exercise together that is way too close! I know it must be difficult for the instructors too!! Other than being crowded - I give my beloved Y an A+!!!!! 👍🥰

Terrific place for a great workout. We are part of the 5 am crowd, We've gotten to know several of the early risers by name. The equipment is top-notch and well maintained.
Cleanliness of equipment, and maintenance of equipment. Energetic and joy filled instructors. Kind and smiling employees. Fabulous personal trainers. Atmosphere where friends can sit and talk after workouts/classes. Love the pool, and facilities in the locker room and changing room. The childcare area looks clean and the children look content and engaged. I am a senior who does pool classes and personal training, and on occasion, utilize the upstairs equipment.

We LOVE the Wednesday Aqua Zumba class with Margarite. She make exercising fun and her personality is so caring and loving with us seniors.
The SCI-FIT machines for upper and lower body have saved my life. With 3 artificial joints, they have kept me going. Thankyou for those.

The senior citizen classes are wonderful!!!! The only suggestion for improvement would be to add a senior citizen line dancing class.
Our Lake Houston Y is always clean and the team is ALWAYS so friendly and helpful!
I like to work out in a peaceful atmosphere. Don’t like machines being dropped on the floor upstairs. Also, staff needs to instruct patrons on how to use the machines, weight, settings, etc. Personally, I got my back hurt by a trainer upstairs not knowing how to set the weight on a particular machine. Personal trainer prices too expensive!Don’t like all the screaming and yelling from young guys upstairs. Like the new manager much better than Andrew!!
