I enjoy the Senior Classes that are being offered and that I’ve attended.
The only issue I have had is when asking for a copy of the gym schedule they have posted, they don’t have it. The copy on display in the lobby is not up to date. I was told to use the app, but the gentleman helping me couldn’t show me the schedule in the app. It shows many classes that you can register for they aren’t the 55+. So I can’t print it. It seems the schedule is made by someone else who doesn’t use the app, save time and take picture of the schedule next to the gym.👀

The schedule, the variety of classes and option, and the very helpful staff make my time at the Y so enjoyable. The atmosphere is welcoming to people of all levels and ages. The Y is a great asset to our community!

I like that as a senior, there are many offerings to participate as well as welcoming atmosphere for older people. Not a "meat factory " like some places

There's something for everyone, every age and every ability
The Lake Houston YMCA in Kingwood has the best atmosphere of any gym/club/facility I have ever been to. It may well be the Christian spirit that surrounds the facility. I don't know. But what I do know is that it is a wonderful place to exercise, swim, and play pickell ball or basketball. I love it!

Great classes for seniors
I love the Lake Houston YMCA. We canceled our membership last year because its far from our house but ended up rejoining a few months ago because we missed it. I do think we need a few outdoor pickleball courts though maybe they could double as a outdoor fitness areas too but the current outdoor fitness area gets a lot of use to where pickleball courts would get used a ton!
Love the staff Tim and Mickey on the weekday morning shifts are so awesome and honestly are a big part of the reason we came back and have gotten our friends to switch the YMCA.
The Lake Houston YMCA has been a blessing to our family for several years. From the amazing child watch to the excellent group fitness classes and instructors to the fitness floor equipment, cleanliness, and staff, it is a great family-friendly place. We are thankful for the Y and appreciate all that is done to make it a great place to stay healthy.
We enjoy our silver sneakers class with Kim on Tuesday. She's very personable and makes the class enjoyable.
We like the variety of moves throughout.
