Water aerobics
The water aerobics, pickle ball and body pump
The Y is so well equipped that it can accommodate all ages and physical conditions of its members. The prayer wall is a wonderful feature that allows spiritual help to those in need a friend!
really like the machine and free weight area
A wide variety of things to do. It’s is clean, has state of the art equipment, and has a very nice pool which is well maintained.
Love the warm water pool and your classes and other activities for seniors!
Recommend swimming at the Y to everyone, young and old!
Open, friendly place.
I like pickleball so they have a good schedule for that. I need to look into the class schedule over there more.
I find the classes convenient and fun. I have made many friends. The only problem I see is that often there are not qualified teachers. This has just been recently.

Friendly staff, nice facilities.

Your people!
Love that many are designed for seniors. Water aerobics have been very beneficial to someone suffering from arthritis in the knees.
I am 82 years old and I attend the classes for seniors. As far as I am concern it is the best way to be in good shape. Those classes are attended mostly by women. It is obvious that men should attend too
I love the openness of the facility to persons of all ages and cultures. The fitness and aquatics facilities are very good and the locker rooms are clean and accessible.
I also like the aquatics programs helping the SBISD lower schoolers learn how to swim for first and second graders. This is very strong for the community and will pay off in ways we will never see. They also support a local Special Olympics swim team along with their Youth Competitive Swim team...the Dragons. Finally, the water exercise programs are filled with people and music to make the exercise experience more enjoyable.
The Senior Size and Silver Sneakers programs are packed full and the participants not only get to exercise, but they make new friends. This is a hidden benefit along with the free coffee in the entrance. How about a Silver Fins program to teach seniors how to swim if they want to learn?
The Duncan Y is one you should visit and see all of the great fitness machines and classes if you want to improve your health. It is better to be seen in person rather than to read about it. There are fitness instructors always present to assist and answer questions. Classes for all ages and styles...Yoga, Zumba, Pilates, Boot Camp and general fitness at all times of the day...even 5:30 AM.
This is not a paid ad. I go there 5 times a week and believe this is more than a gym. It is my Happy Place!
The classes are offered at convenient times and accommodate each person's ability, The facility and equipment is clean and the staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. It's an all-around pleasant experience to visit the "Y".

I LOVE this place. I have been a member of YMCA'S for 20 years. This Y is my favorite. It's the staff. Especially Lisa at the front desk. She helped me so much last week to reinstate my membership. Thoughtful, hospitable and so very informative and helpful. The instructors are top notch. The pool is fabulous. I could go on and on. Just an overall pleasant experience. I love it! Actually getting ready to go now! You guys are the best!
