Wild Rock offers a good selection of high-class outdoor gear. I am a fairly new customer - 2 pairs of hiking boots (that I use year-round, with gaiters in the snow) and now a set of versatile hiking / shoeshoe poles. The staff are very knowledgeable and engaged. I am an older customer, but with a good many adventures on my mind - I started with the old MEC in Vancouver and Toronto, but good to know I can buy my current, more modest needs at Wild Rock!

Excellent staff who know their stuff and care about you. I've been in some bike shops where the staff know their stuff, but they've got a sort of clique of avid bikers and sort of look down their noses at general people. Wild Rock, on the other hand, is very welcoming for all skill levels and interests. The bike service I get there is always top notch - way better than I could do on my own. I also love that it's local.
Such helpful staff. I brought my skiis in for a base wax and because i live way out of town, they accommodated my request for same afternoon service so i could pick them up after completing my appointments in town. Much appreciated.
