Where to begin… Wildrock carries many of the brands and products I’ve used over the years and they tend to be high quality brands. You don’t carry all the things that I yearn for but have nearly all the things I need.
I maintain that it is the people at Wildrock that are the most impactful. When I moved to Peterborough 10 years ago you helped me find cycling routes (thanks Tori) and recommend some nearby paddling routes. I’ve used your canoe rentals, bike maintenance, and leaned on many of you to walk through gear decisions. This week Jeff and someone else whose name I’ve embarrassingly forgotten talked through cycling tires with me to help narrow in on a specific model of slicks for my road bike. In fall another employee helped talk through coat maintenance and travel packs. Having someone that can speak to the gear and relate what they’ve experienced or heard is invaluable.

We have been customers since the beginning and enjoy the personal service from all of the staff and the interest in us, as customers, when we com back after purchases. The staff is knowledgeable or will get back to us if they need to find an answer. We like the “feel” of going into the store as opposed to the box store feel. Products are top notch and staff explain them thoroughly. The only thing we would prefer is not having to go downtown but we do like being able to park on site. When we see something we are interested in at another store, we check Wildrock to see if we can get it locally. Thanks to all the great people who work in the store.
