The staff
Great staff, safe environment and my kid loves it!
The counselors are all very friendly and act like they enjoy it. All the activities they do makes it fun for my daughter.
The hours and location
They get to play and interact with other kids and they are always doing fun activities with them or taking them places if they can.
Everything is very enjoyable, I always have great service, people are truly sweet.
Water aerobics and facilities
I joined in February and am participating in warm water therapy classes. So grateful for them. Looking forward to the Speed Museum tour and the March book discussion. Everyone is nice - and the place is clean - two important factors.
I love the fitness classes. The instructors are awesome. Sara J., Chad, Sharon W., Jeans R. and Sue P. make sure you have a great workout and use proper form. The people that attend the Y are very friendly and helpful. The Y has made staying fit fun and fulfilling.
This isn't so much a "like" as it is a question about a concern that I have tied to the COVID-19 situation. How wise it is now for people to be using the swimming and/or therapy pool services in these circumstances. I have heard that certain viruses are particularly virulent in the moist, warm confines of places like these. Has anyone looked into this matter lately? I regularly use the therapy pool in New Albany, and I am uncertain about whether it is wise to do so currently. Thank you.
I had the Best workout class on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at noon in the warm water pool in New Albany, IN YMCA. So much fun and challenging. Instructor made sure to explain different levels to prevent injury.

I like the staff (especially Dakota, Susan, and Julie). They are always helpful and interested. The size of the y is just right and there always seems to be someone I know when I am there.

It is convenient, has lots of positive energy, offers a wide assortment of classes, includes people of all ages, shapes,sizes, and colors, and is affordable.

Friendly staff! Their child care allows me to workout and gives my children a place to play and exercise at the same time!
Set up so I can watch my kiddos play basketball while I walk/run the track. Ability for my kids to join me on the track and side area for work out.
