Floyd YMCA is a beautiful location which is taking Covid prep very seriously. We felt comfortable sending our two children to kinder camp for 5 weeks. Thank you so much for enabling us to work from home during this time! It has been a blessing to have this option. Thank you!

Counselors have fun and exciting activities! Excellent communication between counselors and parents, be it via app, Facebook, or notes sent home! I am always sure that my child is safe, and so happy that she's coming home at the end of the day tired and full of stories.

They get to play and interact with other kids and they are always doing fun activities with them or taking them places if they can.
Everything is very enjoyable, I always have great service, people are truly sweet.
I already shared this with Ashley but thought it would not hurt to list here. Our son Wesley attended the Pathfinders camp for the 2nd year. Even with the COVID pandemic going on he still had another wonderful summer at the camp. You all were able to bring some normalcy back into his life, and I am sure in the lives of the other campers. I know my husband and I were very happy that you all had the summer camp. We were very impressed how quickly the YMCA was able to put together an action plan to host the camps. Scott and I felt extremely comfortable sending Wesley to Pathfinders. You all set up strict safety guidelines that were still easy to follow. Even with all the new rules, procedures, and processes it did not keep Wesley from having a fun regular summer while staying safe and healthy. I cannot tell you how excited we were on June 1st when Wesley started camp. From the middle of March until June 1st, Wesley was stuck at home with us all day long while we still had to work our full time jobs. It was stressful on all of us. Pathfinders was a huge blessing for our family. We really appreciate all of the Y camp staff! Thank you all so much for all that you do everyday and especially with this year being so different. And thank you for extending camp by two weeks to fit the new school start date!
