I had gotten an oil change and wasn’t aware of the service was going to be done and got charged for it. My oil change always as been charged $62.00 dollars and I had gotten charged for $90.78 for an oil change. It’s ridiculous.
I told them straight up I did not know why my check engine light was on. They said they would fix the problem and they did within the hour!
I didn’t wait for long time.

I paid $44.18 for an oil change in August and $79.92 in November. The price basically doubled over three months and I'm frustrated that the excuse is always the customer being told everything is more expensive now. I'm tired of everything being more expensive because businesses are greedy and don't want to make an effort to keep costs more affordable. There are more affordable options elsewhere.
Predatory pricing. Never have used JL before and never will again.
I got a full synthetic oil change. I had an online coupon for 25 off which was apparently a corp coupon, not specific to the West street Annapolis MD store.
When I was greeted by Blake when I pulled in (prior to even getting out of my car) I informed him what service level I wanted and that I had a coupon. I even extended my phone to him to show him. He made a noticeable attempt to not view my phone which I thought was interesting.
I then went into the waiting room and was called up to review your recommendations after you had been under the hood for 5 minutes (very fast which I was happy to see).
I again selected full synthetic and attempted to show my coupon. The tech (whose name I forgot) again told me now was not the time for that “part of the transaction” and that after they were done they would go over payment, coupons etc.
I also mentioned to Ricci (spelling? And I assumed manager) while I waited of my coupon who had no interest and just told me to sit and wait - there will be a time for that…respectfully…
About 10 mins later when complete I went to register to pay. At that point I was informed by staff member (also one of the managers according to him) that my coupon was a corp coupon and could not be applied. Honestly I was sort of expecting this.
He also told me that they knew very little about any coupons but when pressed told me there may be other store coupons if I did a quick google search.
I did this slowly while standing in line and it was amazing how artfully he guided me through the google search and ultimately the local Annapolis web site to find a $10 coupon and had a tremendous knowledge of the exact 8 different coupons at that location.
At that point I felt completely taken advantage of. When I pressed further to get 25 vs 10 he mentioned he needed codes, it was out of his hands etc. Meanwhile, all the different JL personnel who I had talked with during the process had gathered at the register to collectively defend thier actions. It was like I brought a knife to a gun fight and you know how that works out in the end so I accepted an offer of $15 off to just end the discussion and go away.
I still spent over $100 for a simple oil change and while I was leaving the manager - who was talking to no one in particular- said “we can’t just be givin out $25 coupons” this time very disrespectfully. ….
The unfortunate part is the actual was very quick and efficient. I was impressed which is usually hard to do..
You may have perfected the 15 min oil change - but what you have perfected even better is the art of the scam. Unfortunately to the wrong guy. Next letter is to the BBB and local media.
Staff high level of courteous, knowledgeable, and desire to ensure I am informed of rationale for repairs. Great waiting room....coffee all in order for self serve!

Your Jiffy Lube website for the Altoona location clearly states that you accomplish the Pennsylvania State Inspections, but you do NOT. This is essentially false advertising. If you do not currently do the state inspections, you should NOT advertise that you do.
The techs followed up on concerns from the past, were very thorough and efficient.

I came to this Jiffy Lube because they were open an hour later than my usual location, and I’m so glad I did.
For context, I used to get a fleet discount through my former employer (a local plumbing company), and even after I left the company, I continued going to the Jiffy Lube near my home. But there’s been a lot of staff turnover there, and lately the energy feels more like the team enjoys each other more than the customers. I’m usually directed to stay in the car, and when you do that there — they don’t vacuum. So my car never gets that little extra touch.
This location was completely different.
The team here was friendly, attentive, and actually seemed happy to help. I had a bunch of personal items on the floor of my car, but the young lady still vacuumed — she didn’t toss anything or act bothered, she just organized things as best she could and made it look neat. And she drove my car in herself, which normally gives me anxiety at the other location, but I genuinely felt comfortable with her.
The best part? A team member smiled and said, “Hey, you’re family now.”
It was simple, but since I don’t have much family in the area, that really made me feel welcome.
Great energy, great service, and a team that makes you feel seen.
Kudos to this crew — I’ll be coming here from now on. 👏🏽🚗✨

Very good customer service, updated me the needs of my car and they let me know what the cost was.

I was there getting the oil changed a couple of evening ago when you were very busy. All your folks were very helpful. I'll be back sometime today to finish the job. The place down the street from you does the work while you sit in the vehicle. they check all fluid levels and provide top-offs as part of the service. The service rep said they changed the oil, and inside car filter and took care of the air in the tires. I didn't need a rotation/tires. I will be back today, because the light that was on in my dashboard indicating the need for tire pressure adjustment when I drove in for service, is still on today. Also, my windshield fluid was still empty after I left. So today, I'll ask you to check the air and levels of other fluids. You were very busy when I had my car serviced, but to say all is well and we checked the tires when the light shows my car needs air in the tires after I left you place, leads me to question your services. Not a big deal, but that's how I feel. Jim Last name removed
