This is definitely one of the nicer YMCAs in town in this regard. Theresa at the front desk is truly the best and so helpful!! The man greeting us at the scan in is very excited and happy! We love the light up peg board and just wish the pool area was more friendly.
My son has loved the swim lessons. His teacher for group lessons has been wonderful and my son's love of swimming and ability has improved more than I could have expected.
Love the cardio and dance classes, as well as the swim .
The Y Downtown has everything I need for my weight training and cardio regiment. The ab machine is a bit awkward, but functional.
It would be nice to have the hot tub working again. It has been drained for several weeks and no one seems to know when it will be repaired and operating.
This is a downtown facility so early morning and lunchtime hours can be crowded, but the people are mostly regulars who are more than happy to work in with those waiting for a machine.
The staff is friendly, attentive, and ready to assist.

The front-desk people are so nice and friendly! They make me feel welcome every time.
I like my water aerobics instructor and iron girls trainer. The facility needs some work. The staff is very pleasant.
The play and learn room is very clean, colorful, and inviting! The wonderful staff is super involved with the kids and very sweet. After a workout one day, I picked up my kids and the staff had done an adorable handprint craft with my daughter. It was so sweet and I loved that they took the time to do that.
Our family really enjoys the the gym & pool. Our daughter joined the youth volleyball league last season and had a great time.

I use the cardio equipment and weight machines. I like the variety of the equipment available. All the machines I have used have functioned well and smoothly. There are enough cardio machines that I have not had to wait for an open machine.
I enjoy pickleball. That is why I joined YMCA and it is close to where i reside.

The yoga class I take is awesome. The equipment is in great shape. It's good to use the treadmill or exercise equipment and look outdoors.
