The teachers and the classes that are offered. The people that come to the classes are very friendly.
It’s a great place!
There are things you can do outside like hiking, splash pad,
I haven't participated in any. I am primarily just working out on my own.
I love the workout gym. I would like to try some of the classes but haven’t had time so far.
It would be nice if the ellipticals and treadmills would scan your membership card to log in.
Good environment 👍
I love the big and small feel of Dickenson Y. The classes are so fun and encouraging! Play and Learn is incredible. I am encouraged to keep on track with my workout goals because my son loves play and learn. I feel they have the perfect balance of weight and cardio options.
The accessibility of equipment and the friendliness of staff.
We love go club and camp at Daily family!! My kiddo comes home having had a great day! Lots of STEM activities and outdoor playtime!
My Swimming and grandsons basketball
I love hiking and swimming. Cannot wait for boats. I do wish there was a hot tub in one of the locations.
My kids attend soccer here and I like the gym
Great YMCA. Very nice qualified instructors in the many classes I have gone to. Enjoy the instructors.
I go to use the weight machines to build muscles. I walk for cardio - wish you had an indoor track. I get too bored on a treadmill. There is a bicycle I like but it’s usually busy. I’ve used one in physical therapy recovering from knee replacement.
I haven’t tried any classes. I need to do that.
Classes
I don't really use the programs or activities, but the staff is awesome, the gym is clean, and it's a great environment to work out in!
The programs appear to be timely and useful. The Y tends to think outside the box and offer real world needs for the patrons.
The group exercise classes.
People are very helpful and very welcoming.
It’s free
I love it me and my family
Volley has been life changing for me and my kid. It has allowed me to be more involved in the community and my daughters well-being. I love the owasso Y and I love being apart of the Y family.
Our swim instructor is the best!! After switching from Tandy, this is night and day better.
Everything...I just prefer going to the gym getting in shape then cool off play some basketball and head back to the gym then shower afterwards so I don't get in my car all stinky...also like the fitness programs ymca is a great play to for all the sorts of activities also yall do other things as well but me personally I stick to the gym and basketball 💪🏼 💯
I really enjoy the group classes. I’m way more motivated to work hard in a group setting.
Thursday evening yoga teacher is great!
I really interested in table tennis but the Net is too bad. The tools are not good as well
The Y is unique in its commitment to nurturing a multigenerational community and making everyone feel like they belong there. That’s a dimension of wellness that goes above and beyond physical fitness.
I love the wide variety of fitness classes and how accessible they are even though my attendance is very unpredictable. The instructors are friendly, encouraging, and very knowledgeable.
I also appreciate your extended hours and the abundance of self-serve options.
Your facility is so thoughtfully designed, cared for, and used. There’s too much to list. I’m thankful for the pool(s), for the proximity to LaFortune, for clean and attractive restrooms and locker areas, and for plenty of common areas to hang out.
When I go in to work out, your staff greets me by name with a wonderful smile and great attitude. After all these years, I know most of the hard core gym rats, and we continually laugh at our old age (old age is not for sissies), and encourage one another to stay strong and fit. New members or those clearly not used to fitness are welcomed, encouraged with 'congratulations! You made it here! You are miles ahead of all the people sitting home on the sofa eating chips and watching Netflx, hardest part was actually showing up.' Great place, great staff, and great community.
