I’ve been a long time cu. I’ve always found Osterman employees, either the office staff or the drivers, to be helpful and courteous.
Propane gas deliveries are always timely. Customer service personnel are friendly, helpful, and always available.
On one occasion, my plumber needed info from Suburban in connection with the replacement of my water heater. Suburban responded quickly, allowing my plumber to finish the job in a timely manner.
As a long-standing customer, I have been very pleased with Suburban Propane.

As far as delivery itself, it is great. Drivers are very good. However, trying to get someone at Roy Bros to answer their phone is impossible. I recently called for oil and it took 2 days … they put me on hold each time and I gave up waiting each time after 10 minutes. I left my number and they finally called back and said it would be 7 days for delivery. That was on Nov 6. 7 days later, no oil so on Friday, 8 days later, I tried calling but went through the same thing … put on hold twice, and had to wait for someone to call me back. Then I was told I’d have to wait until Sunday, 11/16 for delivery. Waiting 10 days for oil, when tank was down to 3/8 full is not acceptable. I’ve been with Roy Bros for at least 40 years, am a senior citizen, and find this unacceptable.
I will be looking for a new oil delivery company if this happens once more.
I like that we can communicate to the company because I used to have Amerigas and they were horrible! I like that they are friendly and responsive and a reputable company.
