This YMCA has an excellent connection to the community, providing classes and activities that meet the needs of all ages. The staff are helpful and welcoming. It is easy to make friends with other members. Class instructors are dedicated and well-trained to provide safe workouts.
The overall Y experience is good and I would recommend to friends and family as well.
There is a specific issue with using the workout floor at the Y. A group of 3 to 4 individuals work out and socialize together. In doing so all of them, put their various cell phones, keys, and drinks on one piece of equipment with no regard for anyone who might want to use that piece of equipment. Additionally, because they socialize, and there is nothing wrong with socializing, I do it myself, but I also am cognizant of moving on from one piece of equipment to another instead of lingering as they do. This really ties up a portion of the workout space. There is another individual that brings a backpack and various other items on the floor and proceeds to take up three spaces by spreading his items there from machine to bench etc. This was quite frustrating last week. I basically walked in saw while I was looking at and walked back out, So I am fortunate enough to alter my arrival time. I guess I can vary my time but I shouldn’t have to.This has been the case for the most part of the last 5 months. I am not the only one who sees this, but I guess I’m going to be the only one to speak up

Vickie is such an incredible swim teacher! It's been amazing to see how my little girl has grown as a result of her class. My daughter is always excited to come to swim and talks about what she's learned for the rest of the week. Victory YMCA has a truly phenomenal swim program.
The instructors are always patient and encouraging with each child. They will modify their approach to build trust and comfort if the little swimmer is having difficulty relaxing. I have even observed an instructor taking additional time at the conclusion of the class to help the swimmer feel more comfortable with the water. She would sit on the steps beside the child leading up to the next steps of what she wanted them to accomplish for the quick after lesson instruction.

The professionalism of the staff
Every class I’ve attended has been welcoming and inclusive. The front desk staff are always happy and helpful. My son loves the workers in the child watch area and asks me daily if he can go to “the friend room to play while mommy works out”. The hours of the Y are perfect for my family’s busy and fluctuating schedule, allowing us to fit in our workouts nearly every day no matter how full our calendar may be. Everything is always clean and tidy. 10 out of 10, hands down. I couldn’t be happier with this gym.

The red pool is wonderful. The water temp is so comfortable especially for those wanting to exercise their achey joints!
I like that this location is less crowded and has a lot of equipment. It's actually farther than 3 of them from me, and about the same as two other, I just prefer this location!
