I enjoy the shallow water program. What is challenging, frustrating is registering for classes. I have to take my phone into the pool area to register for the next class. It's stressful! Also parking on M-W-F is terrible. Can classes be staggered?

I recommend the Y because it is close to home. I do feel they need to do upgrades on the pool area. They purchased some toy boats for the kids pool area, but they were not good at all. The buckets need to be fixed before next pool season or another feature added. The bathrooms need to be updated for sure. There is a table in the pool area without an umbrella and they need to get one ASAP. The pool noodles need to be replaced also because some are broken. There are lots of updates that need to be done at the Y in Fort Thomas. We pay lots each month and I don't want to drive farther away because my Y isn't up to standards!

I love the Silver Sneakers class. I also like the Shallow water Class, but lately it has not worked for my schedule. I tried to do both classes the same day last year, but it proved to be too much. I wish at least one Water class was on a different day than the Silver Sneakers.

Currently living in the Fort Thomas area for the next four months so I joined two weeks ago to continue my regular workout routine. So far the Campbell County YMCA has been great. The workout room and Precore equipment are very nice. Setting up an online account and adding my membership card to my iPhone wallet was easy. The facility is clean and best of all it is great to see such a variety of age groups using the Y. Have met several interesting people while having a coffee after my workout.
We’ve enjoyed the outside pool this summer and swim lessons.
