The atmosphere reminds me of a “mom and pop” store, the staff is friendly and always eager to help out! It was recommended that I see MJ by my lesson instructor Bill. In total, I probably spent 4 hours with MJ on my 2nd of 5 days at Steamboat. I initially went in inquiring about custom footbeds to replace my more generic "athletic" ones. MJ took the time to teach my about my options and what to expect in the future. He didn't try to push a sale on to me but explained things in a way and LISTENED to what I was saying then let me arrive at what the solution would/should be. Ultimately, I ended up buying a new pair of boots and custom footbeds. I had such an amazing experience that I've already told a couple of friends back home in NY who will be coming to Steamboat in 2 weeks that they need to see MJ.
Knowledgeable and friendly shop and retail people, able to jump on a repair and get you back i the saddle or on your skis. Good at suggesting preventive maintenance, too.
And you won't feel ripped off.

Not only are the products all top notch - what really makes this experience the best in town and in Colorado - is the team and service.
